Yeah, I guess 17th place was "decent" for Pac NW on your home-town advantage... but what's better is that Felix beat Seibrik there. Isn't he ranked #1 in your region?

This is why you shouldn't say people suck, it just backfires. I acknowledge that FL is good, that makes any wins against you guys more meaningful for us. It also pays respect to the time and effort all of you put into competing in this game.
Trash talk is good when it's applied correctly. Please tell me "Florida is AWESOME, we'll gladly take on any Pac NW and give them our best!" just don't try to bring people down, that makes R.O.B. cry. ([TT]

Smh you originally brought up ancient results not me trying to defend against my mostly trolling post that noone took serious besides yourself.
Guess it depends on what u consider decent or w.e because I got 17th at ohio and that isn't a good placing imo. Also beating seibrik with diddy isn't worth mentioning realistically rofl that's his worst mu and he literally has lost to ever top diddy he has ever played, adhd,gnes,ninjalink,dekar,felix etc also pretty sure hrnut beat felix pretty soundly but regardless as I said pac nw isn't bad.

And the current pr is still old in terms of reflection of current players since we took forever to update last time so wins from like october of last year counted towards it.
Masky is somewhere in top 15 though

ROB is not meant to be main'd. He's a much better secondary.

1st KiraFlax(Better than Chibo)
2nd ChiboSempai
3rd Silhouette/Lucky*
4th Mr.Eric(Not that faker Mr.E who sucks compared to the beep master)
5th Tinman

*There was also a ROB with a tag Lucky, he was very good. IMO on par with Silhouette but I don't know much about him.

Since T0mmy quit the game I'm not placing him up there, even though I hate him cause he say nonsense all the freaking time he would be top 5 if he still played(I'm still better than him by far since I'm a better player).

that was definitely over a year ago, I was in Oregon during the summer of 2009 lol (during which time for the record I never beat t0mmy in a set, I think I've gotten a lot better since then obviously though). honestly you guys should only really use mlg/national placings or whatever as a comparison

I have zero authority here, but I'd like this to resume back to the Power Ranking thread rather than the Permanent Rage thread.

@ Co18 & t0mmy - I think you both have valid arguments and believe that none of this heated discussion will change until Pac NW and FL have the chance to clash heads whenever/if that ever happens.

@ Holy - I <3 you beepo, but you need to not be so harsh on us. We know R.O.B. isn't great in MUs, in tiers, and whatever else. But, he's great to me as a character, and I won't stop trying to improve his game, regardless of his seemingly "hopeless" MU against MK.

R.O.B. might be a trash character to a lot of you, but he'll never be to me. I don't see it in him yet to believe that he has his limits. Problem nowadays is that, people are so beeping negative about this character that they either give up on him, or cause other people to with discouragement. Therefore, his metagame can't be furthered. And yes, I do believe that R.O.B. had a metagame to further develop.

but this is w/e, I think this is all silly lolz, trollin or not.



p.s. Kira Flax + fried chicken = the greatest smash memory I'll ever have.

It's not that ROB is a trash character. The fact is that he gets wrecked by the most overplayed character in Brawl (not to mention a few other high tiers) makes him nonviable in most situations. But he beats Ice Climbers, making him an awesome secondary.

This list seems too puny to me. I like the idea that there should be a separate section for people who second ROB.

I think the reason why you're losing cool points with some people is because... (and this may be a wild guess...) but you come in here and call all of us bad (and in great detail). I think we get the idea that we suck; it's gotten to the point of overkill now, thanks for bringing it to our attention.
The reason why I don't hold it against you is because my self-respect is far stronger than any insult, but I find it's easier to get your point across when you speak a little more kindly. There's a saying: "You catch more flies with sugar than vinegar". If you speak nicely to people you catch their attention more.

I respect your opinion that you're better than me. However, I'm like over 9,000x better than you think I am. And you can MM me at a game of SSF2 HD Remix. I main T Hawk (but my Ryu is way better).

BTW, I see I'm back on the rankings... did you guys not know that I haven't been playing R.O.B. for about two months now? Last tourney I played C. Falcon. Before that it was Sheik and Marth. I don't even remember what it was before then. Where are you getting your results to rank people? I didn't see a discussion anywhere.

Peach and Zero Suit Samus aren't high-tier characters, Fizzle. Besides MK, the only other high tier that isn't roughly even or better is Dedede, who has so many terrible match-ups I'm not even sure how the hell he's still upper-tier himself... Hey, Dedede loses to MK too. And Diddy. And Falco. And Pikachu, Olimar...

Better than my placements let on being that I have zero practice or local community to play with between tourneys. Though, I never actually claimed or pretended to be good.

There's never been a "good" ROB main anyway, you included, where by one of those I mean someone who's good enough to have a strong chance of placing T8 at a national-level event. Rankings are irrelevant.

hey man, give me a break. there isn't a single player in WA who actually plays snake. not one. going there and playing a matchup I thought i knew just made me play worse. you can even ask hrnut i ****ed up game 2 where i should have grabbed him and instead tryed to spike him to look cool LOL bad choice on my part.

I enjoy this game too much to quit. So long as I not let it go to my head and keep it in perspective...its not life. How skilled I am at this game doesn't in anyway determine my success in life. However I enjoy pushing myself to get better and trying to be better than other people. Even with that said, at the end of the day I am no better or worse of a person than anyone I play (or don't play). Anyone who gets so caught up in the game to the point where they make peoples worth based off of how good they play or who they play really has serious issues.
