I hate myself for not getting out of pools. I could have beaten either of the two guys I went 1-2 with, but I choked. I also could have beaten the Peach, but I made a lot of stupid mistakes in our matches. I really need to get out of pools. I sorta hate myself for being so bad. D:

DDD, it was close, but I think he switched off of him for game 3 as by the end of the match iirc I had it all figured out. He got a good lead on me game 1 but after that I kept even with him and closing the gap a bit throughout the rest of the game.

^^^Thats whats up, you couldn't make it to OUGA? I helped run brackets and such, the entire weekend was a blast. You'll be at Nopes right?

OUGA is on the opposite side of Columbus and about a three-hour drive (i.e. normally too far for me to want to DRIVE BY MYSELF). I actually thought about coming but I'll just go to Nope's next week (yes I'm coming) and be satisfied with that.

Not to mention I'm a monster at the matchup. Though seriously I'm so much better against pro MKs than noob MKs. Noob MKs just do stupid things like overspaced dair camping, ridiculous amounts of nado and trying to time me out when most pro MKs (except Ksizzle who prompted the hopeless post of mine lol) try to fight by spacing tilts and aerials and stuff and playing smart which keeps me on my feet doing great. I'll have vids today.

lol as soon as Lain picked MK for the third match I was like THANK GOD

(I'm confident enough in the matchup that I'd rather fight a MK over like a DDD, Lucario, Toon Link, or Snake lol)

I prefer DDD and maybe Snake over MK. I'm great at the DDD matchup because I just pitch a tent on the ledge and stay there.

Hilt will go DDD on you if you beat his Oli, its his new ROB counter, if he gets you in the CG spam Jab in case he messes up.

and against Oli you just really need the gimp, you have to fight him aggressive or he will out spam you, badly. When you do approach watch for him to pivot grab you, its broken.

i know hahaha, I play olimar so much that i know the matchup pretty well with ANY character. When i played kirby, hilt said i knew it better then YbM. When I played olimar, He said that i gave him a lot of trouble in the ditto, and he just got over the other ky olimar ditto, now he had to deal with me xD. Olimar is easy to fight. DDD is a different story though. Hate DDD sooooooo much @_@.

Trust me, it helps to know the character you're opponent uses. I used to main Samus, and I entered a reverse pick tournament at a smashfest, where basically your opponent picks your character for you based on a ban list you have. Since everyone there knew I main ROB and didn't know I used to main Samus, they all decided to choose Samus for me, even though I had a long list of available characters, lol. I won against the first 2 people that chose Samus for me. A Yoshi main and a Ness main. My third opponent chose Samus for me too, but he was a Samus main, and I got wreaked, like 2 stocked if I remember.

Idk, I just seem to do better against other ROB's when I'm not using ROB myself, but that might just be me. =P

i got 1st out of 89 at a huge nc tourney today, all ROB

i beat some mdva who showed up, notably meep (2 stock! lol) and sanoscy (he does NOT know the rob MU...), ALSO! mikehaze came from cali and we had a close set in gfs i won 3-2 (first set though), mad close. he lost to an nc player named keith/villain_89 in winners, it was crazy

Wow... Great Job Stingers! I have always wanted to see a ROB beat MikeHaze.(nothing personal to Mikehaze)
Hopefully you have some footage because I would love to see it.
I won 1st place at an anime convention tourney this weekend(it was done by a competitive gaming organization so the rules were legit.) I won 38.50. It wasn't that impressive compared to a lot. But for me it was an awesome experience and confidence booster.
