Can it differ per 3DS or something?

To get the 3rd poke, you guys both have to be online at the same time after both have beaten the elite four. You don't have to go to the safari right away (ie one can go offline afterwards and it'll still be unlocked)

I was wondering what was going on.

I know I didn' pick umbreon to trade. If I didn't hit my internet switch off that would have been bad
