Added you again. Sorry I don't come as often...For some reason I stopped getting e-mail notifications for new posts.

Just bred a bunch of Mawile. I have 6 female ones with Intimidate and perfect 5IV in everything but Special Attack. Adamant nature with Ice Fang, Fire Fang, and Sucker Punch. I have that many because I wanted a male one. >_>
I'll take one of those mawile. as for pokemon i have NP misdreavus, a jolly SS, encore, DB memento Ralts i can breed, Analytic porygon, seed bomb turtwig, and night slash oshawott. i don't know when I'll be on though..

I own the Y version, so I only have the Charizardite Y.
It was just announced there will be an event to give the opposite Charizardite to specific versions (X for Y, Y for X). Not sure if it'll carry over to the U.S., though.

WOW WTF I just got the opposite one for the Charizard for my X version from a friend too. IF they can do that for Mewtwo that would be nice.

Tsk. I was just thinking getting DB on it as well, but the idea of leveling a Yamask (having found a level 1 Yamask on GTS) to 49 made me hesistate on the idea.

Nature/IVs on it? Purely out of curiosity.

Also, now that Pokebank is out in NA, does anyone have an Analytic Staryu lying around?

IVs aren't a necessity; I'd just like a hatched Honedge with Wide Blade and Destiny Bond. Is there anything in particular you'd want for it?

Surprise me! I did breed a Porygon, but it doesn't have Analytic. I don't know what kind of set I would use for an Analytic one though...would it be better for 2 or for Z? Also, do the starters legally have access to their hidden abilities? Either way, I'm fine with anything.

Mega Abomasnow probably gets the best use out of Trick Room, as it's quite slow. Mega Aggron, Mega Mawile, and Mega Ampharos may also take advantage of Trick Room too. Not so much Mega Tyranitar though, especially if it's a Dragon Dance user.
Yeah, I'm gonna use a mega bastois and aggron. After that, I plan on breeding an ampharos for mega replacement just in case it's needed

the only starter pokemon i know that can legally have their HA are the first and 6th gen starters, torchic, and chimchar. and I'm on atm I'd just need to breed something. Idk which would work for analyctic porygon..

I'd have to go with the Marvel scale Dratini. I have two of them one is adamant the other is calm

I'll take the Calm. All of my Dratini are Naive as I was aiming for a Rain Sweeper/Parent for Salamence.

Edit after below: Thank you as well.

Definitely 2, as its bulky enough to take repeated hits (which you pretty much have to to get the most out of Analytic), and much slower. Z prefers Adaptability (which 2 doesn't get) to turn its STAB moves into nukes, or Download for the somewhat unreliable auto boost.

I can breed anybody one if they'd like. Trace is debateably better for making it a check/counter to lots of things, but I get a lot of use on my Trick Room team. Vid examples:

EKBW-WWWW-WWW5-HTXQ
Perfect example of its bulk. Even Mega Pokes (not named Lucario/Medicham/Heracross) have trouble with it.

LJAW-WWWW-WWW5-HTXL
Zap Cannon is obviously risky, but I couldn't get it to remember Discharge. Paid off at least.

Can you hook me up with one or two for a trick room team and a Porygon Z?

I wish I checked the smashboards first. I traded my Xerneas for a porygon (I'm not a fan of pokemon that I can't use in competitive play).

Can do. Any preferred nature? Mine is Relaxed to take hits better.

I know how you feel. I trade a Cobalion for a Porygon-Z because I got tired of waiting to finish my dex.

For the Trick Room one I can do Quiet or Relaxed and for the second if we are doing a second one is timid or modest.

I've been doing a good deal of breeding on my end too. Right now I have the following bred Pokemon with me, but not all of them offer perfect IVs for their vital stats; I did a lot of IV breeding with my almost perfect IV Dittos.

1: Timid Protean Froakie
2: Timid Fennekin
3: Timid Telapathy Noibat
4: Calm Gooey Goomy
5: Jolly Gale Wings Fletchling
6: Timid Clauncher
7: Modest Squirtle w/ Aura Sphere + Dragon Pulse

I did mention about wanting a Charizardite X earlier. I've also been having some bad luck with getting a Sturdy Bergmite, since all the Ice-type Friend Safari owners that I have on my friend list haven't even finished the main story.

I have a Bergmite in my safari. I can add you if you want.

Also, is there an item that does the opposite of power items when breeding? Instead of guaranteeing the pokemon passing down a certain stat, it guarantees that neither pokemon will pass down a certain stat.

Simply not giving the parents items will make it so that the offspring's IVs will be completely random.

Anyway, I have your friend code registered. Once you've registered mine, just keep an eye out for when I'm playing Pokemon Y, as that'll be your opportunity to connect to the internet.

I was gone for a little while, but now I added you. Also, trying to figure out a good EV spread for a trick room porygon2. I'm stuck between:
252 HP/126 Def/126 SpDef/6 SpAtt
or
252 Def/252 SpDef/6 SpAtt.
Which one is better at taking hits?

It really depends on what exactly you want it to tank or counter, whether it be Physical Attacks, Special Attacks, or to switch in and survive specific things. The latter will no doubt sponge special attacks. I don't know if I feel the former as I feel you have to have something specific in mind to be splitting defenses as opposed to putting them in one or the other. Otherwise, it may not perform as well as you'd like.

I'm just planning on using to set up trick room in a double battle team. It's not really planned to deal lots of damage. I just want a pokemon that can can take both special and physical hits. If you have a better EV idea, I'd be glad to hear it. I want to use it as a bulky trick roomer (this isn't going to be the only pokemon that's gonna have trick room).

Eviolite will help it take hits from both sides decently enough regardless; Either make it 252/252/6 in favor of Def or Sp.Def, depending on what you think will help your team more.

Edit: I mentioned specific spreads in the case of it being for singles, but since it's doubles, don't bother IMO.

Thanks. Also, someone traded a shiny Latios with timid nature and all perfect IV's. Not sure, but I think there is a slight chance that this is hacked.:)

It does depend on how the Pokemon was created. PokeGen is basically the best way to make Pokemon look completely legit.

Through the magical power of resets, ive managed to get myself a +SAtk, -Def 31/x/31/31/x/31 Xerneas. Needless to say i am very pleased.

EDIT: Just IV calc'd it, its 31/30/31/31/19/31, damn just imagine if that 30 and 19 were switched!! Still super happy though.

Last I've checked, roaming Pokemon have their nature and IVs fixed, or at least that's how it was before Black 2 and White 2.

Anyway, I now have a bunch of Adamant Heracross with me, and most of them know Rock Blast; very handy for anyone who plans to use Mega Heracross for its Skill Link ability.

Yes roaming legendaries has thier IV's and natures fixed however in X/Y with the legendary birds you have to encounter them about 20 times then the birds will stop flying all over Kalos and go to the Sea Spirit cave or whatever it's called and it's becomes a normal legendary encounter. From there you can soft reset to get whatever nature and IV's you want plus with X and Y giving away good IV pokes like candy your guaranteed 2-3 perfect IV's.

Is there a chance I can get it at 5-6 IV's Articuno, because I plan on using it in competitive (and it's one of my favorite legendary Pokemon)?
