With Lucario on my team, I'd have 2 steels, though Lucario would be great to cover Aegislash's dark weakness

Ooh, that sounds interesting. It might be able to replace my Ninjask.

I'm waiting to potentially breed Spikes/Toxic Spikes onto one as far as utility goes. Scolipede is actually inferior at passing stat boosts than Ninjask, but superior in actually attacking (STAB Megahorn/Poison Jab/Rock Slide/Earthquake are actually decent coverage) and taking hits. Scolipede does, however, get Iron Defense, which makes it both able to take a hit and accumulate more stat boosts. Swept a lot of people already with just Substitute+SB, but only because I use mine mid-game rather than as a lead.

tl;dr - I can breed either more Adamant if you want an offensive one, or Impish if you'd like a bulky one.

I'd probably prefer a bulky one. I use my Ninjask as a revenge killer of a sort, and a good counter to those Greninjas that have been sweeping the playfield. Since he is faster than Greninja, X-Scizor can take it out with one go. Then I can use the speed boosts on my next Pokemon with Baton Pass.

Mr. Mime can't swords dance, then use acrobatics, boosted by flying gem which increases it's damage and gains power from holding no item AND raises it's speed stat 2 stages, then baton pass 2 stages of attack and speed to another pokemon

During the main story, my pokemon ended up having to hurt eachother whenever I participated in double battles half the time

Items CAN'T be carried over from gen 5 though

Pokebank can't transfer pokemon with tems

nope just checked. it seems like they aren't in this gen or can't be found normally at least.. the most likely place would either be with someone in a city or found by those unique way to get items.. ie using blizzard in a battle when there is a tree in the background

Yeah, I keep getting damp rocks at the end of my battles when I'm defense EV training in Terminus cave. It's always when the crystal in the background drops. Interesting, I never really put it together that that was actually a thing. I just thought it was coincidence.

The only gem I was aware you could get was the Normal Gem, which was given by some NPC.
