I feel a pounding within my chest
and my nerves are shot to hell
I've seen such wondrous beauties
which all cast me under a spell
I've seen countless opportunities
behind windows tinted black
to give my heart to a kindred soul
whom always has my back
The beatings getting stronger now
and I cannot turn away
from the fears and harsh rejections
I face each and every day
I question if this quest of love
can get that girl of mine
Will I ever feel the comforting warmth
or even just a valentine?
But love is not a currency
that is traded in for more
It's a feeling deep inside
shared with those that you adore

We've got a brand new stride today
and it's bros before hos
I never thought I'd see the day

until that day I picked Luigi
and chopped a recovering Fox.

A lust towards those so far from me
For here I smash, both left and right
And yet I'll only whiff tonight
My brothers, smashers as they are
So surely understand
That to love a game above a girl
Demands a skillful hand

But finding love in them means
that I barely need to reach
Though perhaps there's merit to it all
