A simple reply to the recent discussion spurred on by Carroll's comments:

Remember why YOU play the game, and don't worry about what other people think and how other people play. As long as YOU are having don't sweat it. People get pissed with Alan and I when we bull**** ditto. Yeah we take up a TV for a bit, but that is one way him and I have fun playing the game. I do play serious sometimes, and sometimes that is really fun. But in friendlies I mostly chill and **** talk for laughs. The only reasons to play this game are for personal achievement, friendship, and enjoyable competition. So each of us will take those notions to the level we want, and will prioritize them based on preference. You can't get mad at someone for playing to win every game if that's what makes it fun for them, just don't let it aggravate you. And if you feel like that is not a possibility, avoid playing that person.

Just remember we all play this game to escape from reality for a little bit (or in Alan's case, to escape from his normal constant escape from reality), and we are all just trying to have some fun.

Actually, the act of smashing forces me out of my house and into an establishment of high education, bringing me much closer to reality than I'd ever want to be.

Note how I'm not going tomorrow.

I think you need to consider my statement again. If you are escaping from your constant escape from reality, then yes you would be thrusting yourself into a situation closer to reality. Therefore, your argument is invalid. Especially since cats roll watermellons out of water.
Get logiked son.

An "escape from reality" typically means that one is freeing themself from the burdens and stresses they're faced with during their every day life. As such, it could be fairly interpreted that my "escape from escape from reality" is me freeing myself of the burdens and stresses of attempting to free myself from the burdens and stresses of every day life, ultimately pushing me even further down the coil away from the establishments of reality, such as Duquesne University, and thusly making my response accurate.

Get open-minded-ed, son.

I forget who he was using, but we were both down to one stock and the rules were whoever hits next wins...
