Sakurai has ALWAYS put a character update of some sort at least once a week for each week that he's been updating. I don't think he'll cut his pattern tonight.

About the delay: if Sakurai doesn't update within the first 15 minutes of the designated time (3AM GMT -05 for me) then he's delaying it to the next hour and if after the 15 after that hour then he's updating it 1 more hour later. Max delay being 2 hours late.

This is what I have noticed from seeing the updates being updated.
