The Official "Megaman in SSBB" Topic!

Since Sonic has been announced for Brawl my main focus now is Megaman. I believe that he will be much more than just a weird samus clone, with all of the powers in megamans posession Nintendo has a pretty wide range of things to pick from. For his design i believe that it should be X from Megaman X.

I also heavly support Zero for brawl because he is schweeeeeeet!!!!!!

And I think that Megaman would have a good time teaming up with Samus, Lucas, or Ike.
It would also be fun to fight against Giga Bowser (if he ends up being a boss again, as well.)

I think Megaman would make a wonderful team with Sonic, Samus, or Fox, but I doubt he will ever fight Giga Bowser in SE since he's already Bowser FS remember? unless of course Bowser indeed does transform into him while in SE

we MAY just get one third party character every month until January.....

5 3rd parties seems a little high, but not out of possibility...hopefully mm will be confirmed this month

How about Crono? I'd rather have Crono than Pacman. Snake, Sonic, Megaman, Bomberman, and Crono sounds about right.

So everyone likes the idea of Yellow Devil? I'm fond of the idea of battling the Mecha Dragon atop the floating blocks as in MM2.

Yes, Crono is awesome. Luminaire for FS. Honestly, I despise Pacman. I just put him in for the joke.

it is a possibility that they could have 5 third party characters, although I would rather have ray-man over pacman. and none of that stupid plunger gun stuff, he was better when he could throw his fists in the older games.

yeah yellow devil seems better to me. hes more unique to mega man

I wouldn't mind seeing Snake Man's level be adapted for a Mega Man stage, from MM 3. I could picture all the twisting green pipes and scattered robotic snake heads that fire shock blasts at whoever gets too close. Plus I always remembered the soundtrack for that one clearly...

I was thinking te same thing if X was picked over classic, no matter how unlikly it is. but if they both(SOMEHOW) get in togeather than I can see us getting an assist of zero, a boss of yellow devil, and highway as a stage. also maybe a megaman boss as aassist trophy. but this is realy pushing it with assist trophies.

BTW if X is in how tall would he be to other characters? I see him being around links height.

I would say that would be about right, as long as he's bigger then pikachu and kirby he won't look too out of place. He wasn't huge or anything, but he was powerful for his size. He just owns, plain and simple.

X is around the size of the average human adult...
so yeah about (adult) Link sized, maybe a little shorter...

Also, I dont see the yellow devil as a feesible boss...
Projectile char's would do fine...
Melee char's...not so much...
Protoman/Blues or even Bass/Forte maybe, but not yellow devil...no...


PS...Narrowing down quotes on the Wii is...tedious...
PSS...I will now refer to MM, or should I say RM, char's by their true names...
ie...MM will be Rock, PM will be Blues, and so on...

I said this way back in the thread, but I felt like bringing it up again since we were on the subject. if we wanted X and zero in the game, I think this would be the coolest way. besides, they cover each others weaknesses, so it would make a way uber team up.

if it was a zelda/sheik type team up, then by hitting down B whoever you were currently using would teleport out, and the other would teleport in. during this time you wouldnt be able to be hit except for like the first half second and the ending half second(when the other came in).

No, that kind of question never really bothered me enough to go and find out.

I know it doesnt seem likely but it still would be awsome. I doubt it too but I just thought I would throw the Idea out there. besides they dont have to be the same character to switch. the thing is is that we have only had one character who could do that and it was zelda. nothing says it cant happen, besides, we also said the same about third party assist trophies and look what happened. but it is unlikly your right.

98% of people here will agree with you on the megaman.exe part. I am mostly for X as well but as long as I have X or classic I will be happy. I would be exstatic if we had X though.
