Psh... Still alot more to go by than half-***** assumption... Besides, December 3 happens to be a Monday, and most of the Newcomer updates have been on a Wednesday, including Sonic. Sure we did get Pokemon Trainer and Lucas on Mondays, but it seems that Sakurai likes to save the real buzz generating characters for until at least the middle of the week - the climax of the week, if you will.

The reason I personally prefer Dec. 17, is because on Nov. 18 or Dec. 3 I'll be here at college, and I won't be able to stay up with you guys. I get out for Christmas Break on the Dec. 14 so Dec. 17 will be the very first update of my break. THAT would one mother of a christmas present to have Mega confirmed for Brawl. And I want to stay up and celebrate with everyone on that momentous occasion. That and Dec. 17 is Megaman's offcial 20th birthday. If I sound selfish, you have my permission to Mega Blast me into oblivion.

But meh, Nov. 18, Dec. 3, or Dec.17 as long as he's confirmed it's all good.

Fair enough. That makes sense.

Funny thing: the original trailer was actually shown on a Wednesday. Therefore, Snake, a "buzz" character was a Wednesday update. (Along with Pit, MK, Zamus, and Wario, of course.)

everybody is uneasy cuz Sonic has been confirmed, and we all thought he would be revealed last. So everyone is feeling a little nervous about their favorite characters.

im just preparing for if we dont get mm on Nov 18th, Dec 3rd, or Dec 17th, the millions of n00bs who will come in here sayin mega man aint in the game cuz of blah blah blah.....

dSmash- Heavy Kick (Swings leg farlike kicking a Mega Ball, but without the Mega Ball. [unless you make contact with someone else's Mega Balls)

Guys, don't forget about Wood Man. He apparently was popular enough to get into Rockman 8 on the Saturn, so he's a possibility for an AT too. I'd like a Kobun, myself, or maybe Tron in one of her robots. Rockman.EXE wouldn't be a bad AT either, & he could represent the other Rockman universe.

Well that may be so, but as i have previously stated before if you want a more fleshed out moveset then X would be the Megaman to choose, he's not too far off the original to stray away from the whole Megaman concept anyway.

If they want to pay homage to the original Megaman then just give X an alternate costume which resembles the original and that would keep the majority happy.

I may be in the minority here, but i for one want a megaman with a more unique moveset and only X can deliver that with being close to the original as possible.

i think Megaman's 20th anniversary is coming up on the 19th, however don't hold me to that but i do remember a significant date for Megaman this month. So lets hope for another big suprise soon. More to the point, come on X !.

As I've previously stated, I'd rather have the support robots than the secondary characters for MM ATs. I mean, what can Protoman or Bass do that Megaman can't to set them apart as assist trophies? At least Flip-Top could randomly generate items, or Beat could resuce someone who has fallen too far from the stage to recover by themselves. But I do like the idea of Drillman. He digs into the ground and can potentially instant KO a character from underground.

And you guys think you have it rough? I have to construct a website for my Geography class. Procrastination FTL!

Wow! Megaman was close to being 3rd to last yesterday. Today he's plain old third!

God I hate those bats. They should slowly fly down and drill into the ground if you end up underneath them. This way, people who've never played a Megaman game can see just how annoying it is to kill one of them, and how hard it is to survive in a room with at least two of them.

the enemy I hated most were those ladybug flying disk things. if they got into a mob, you coudnt keep them off you. they're at their worst when you have to jump from platform to platform to keep from falling into a spike pit.

Just imagine Mario and Sonic teaming up to face one of Wily's wildest creations. Or if say Ridley made it as a playable, how many would like to see Ridley vs the Mecha Dragon?

Conversely, what bosses from other franchises would be suitable for our Blue Bomber to battle?

I'd like to see you fight Yellow Devil on Eldin Bridge. It would be such a pain in the arse. (Like YD is in the Megaman games on his own.)

And I think that Megaman would have a good time teaming up with Samus, Lucas, or Ike.
It would also be fun to fight against Giga Bowser (if he ends up being a boss again, as well.)

Megaman vs Ganondorf, that's an interesting battle I never dreamed would happen. I suppose Marx (Kirby Series) could be an interesting boss as well.

Hooray for 3rd party assist trophies! Wouldn't it be great if other 3rd party characters got an assist rep even if they didn't get a PC? Ex: Rayman and Rabbids as assist trophies but nothing else from Ubisoft, get it?
