I don't know if they are going to pay for the rights of Protoman and Bass just to make them Alternate costumes for Megaman

They wouldn't have to pay for the rights to use other Capcom characters in the same franchise. I'm sure if Capcom let Nintendo use Megaman, they would let Nintendo use Protoman and Bass. It wouldn't make any sense if they had to pay for each individual character.

And Error, a little late, but effective nonetheless.

Hey Lego, if you are gonna use me, put me on whichever side you want. But if it is possible, I want to be a character who blindly fights for a cause I don't realize is wrong. I love those kind of characters, even though they make me sad. My fave example: Izlude from FF Tactics.

I just figured that out sorry, and ya the rights probably come in a bundle, but if they dont, they can still make megaman look feakin sweet in any look.

"I got a freakin sweet new bike!" sorry that popped up in my mind.

so...megaman..kills....himself?
oh I get it, he does. his future self is kidnapped, sent to the past to fight his past self, past self wins, so megaman is eventualy doomed because of himself.

actualy he cant, unless he teams up with himself, he cant.
think about it this way,
1.megaman goes through his life, meets someone exactly like him and is evil, destroys him.
2.megaman gets kidnapped and reproggramed.
3.megaman is sent to the past, and fights his past self, and losses.
4.past self then goes on till he is kidnapped, and sent to the past, fights himself, and is defeated.

it is a ever lasting cycle of megaman being his own doom.

What I'm saying is, if Mega were to find out about his grim fate from Quint, then he could be more alert in the future. But I suppose your right, that's just baseless assumption anyway. Megaman being kidnapped and destroyed by himself would explain why he isn't so much as even referenced in the X series.

but heres the kicker, this gives us a base for the megaman 9 game. you battle 8 more robot masters sent out to weaken megaman. you then go to battle wily. wily at the last minute captures megaman and reprograms him. he then stuff you into the time machine and you are sent to the past. its a awful ending and a sad one but it seems like the most accurate ending for megaman 9...

plus megaman cant warn himself, if he does then that megaman wont fall for the trap, and then megaman isnt sent to the past, so megaman doesnt warn himself, so he is captured....its a time paradox.

this would also explain why doctor light would make another megaman(X) with a empathy chip. so that X wouldnt fall under the same fate as classic.It all makes sense now...

Megaman 9 should be more like Megaman & Bass where you can select between like Megaman and a couple other robots...

Maybe Bass, Protoman, etc....

oh ok cause I was wondering if megaman had both bass and protoman on his side, how would he be captured and not rescued? is there a small possibility bass rejoins wily and turns on megaman? what if he battles protoman while wily does all of this? although this is all reaching out onto a limb.

I don't think so. Bass would only want Mega Man to lose to Bass. He would probably kill Wily for doing that. But that may not happen because Wily needs time to build Zero. Perhaps Wily reprograms Mega Man and then Reprogrammed Mega Man destroys both Bass and Protoman.
