come to think of it megaman as a universe has enough characters to do something on a smash bros scale, so why haven't they tried yet?

im tryin to think of some new topics for us to discuss about mega man when i realized, there arent any more lol.

we could go to the idea i had for a while and everyone posts their favorite game from each [good] series and tell us why it was good to them, or we could go back and forth on what plotholes need to be filled and why

“Sides”​

The high heavens – The combined forces of heaven they shall transcend onto earth to reclaim it in the name of god and to stop the burning legion from consuming it and furthering their plans against the heavens.

The burning legion – They march one last time onto the earth in order to claim it and from their launch their final assault on the gates of the high heavens to finally become the governing force of all life.

The 13th order – The group that killed the last “Mega man” they aptly after that seized power using their advanced technology and spread their empire over earth. Harvesting almost all material from the earth they control the last remnants of robots and humans under their iron fist. This planet spanning empire is split into orders, the most mysterious of all being the 13th, the only ones that know more than their names are those that are members themselves… and they only know what they are told.

Simon Belmont: The vampire slayer;

The two combatants meet face to face as the count down to the battle begins they look around nervously awaiting the signal to start the battle...

GGGOOOOOOO!!!....

The match starts their eyes lock for a split second before they run to find cover behind the rocks. Simon Belmont starts throws axes at Mega man but he skilfully shoots them out of the air, as Mega man jumps behind a rock more axes come shooting past his face skinning the side of his helmet... he knows that his weak buster fire wont do much damage so he knows what he must do.

Belmont looks nervously at the rocks, Did I hit him? Belmont ponders to himself but before he has time to ask himself another question the Blue bomber leaps into the air, with the sun directly behind him the Blue bomber is nothing but a silhouette in the air...

Then before Belmont has enough time to react Mega man shoots three buster shots at him, Belmont naturally shields himself and the blue bomber takes advantage of Belmont's few seconds of vulnerability. He runs at lighting speed concentrated on Belmont grabs him and scans him... then...

Dadada dadada dada dada da da dadada daaaaaaaa "You got Belmont whip"

Belmont scrambles for his whip raises his hand and... and... well... nothing seeing as Mega man (Now with an Indiana jones hat and a grayish colour change) has his Mega-Whip wrapped tightly around Belmont's hand.

The blue bomber ponders to him self for a second on what he should do and... he decided.

Mega man: Lets end this

The blue bomber rips back his Mega buster (Which the whip came out from) with so much force it rips most of Belmont's arm off. Belmont now writhing on the floor in pain looks up at the blue child standing over him:

Belmont: Give me mercy

Mega man extends his arm out to help Belmont but he remembers... remembers in Mega man 7 the same mercy he gave to Wily... and he remembers all the pain and death he caused after that...

A single tear runs down the face of the young robot

Mega man: I'm... I... I'm... sorry.

It was actualy more terrible than I thought it was going to be...
I think the one thing that threw me off the most though was the fact that not only is it a not-good movie, but the fact that the characters are almost exactly the same as the ones in the BN series.I think I might be the only one wih this opinion though.

the more supporters the better. we should also prepare our selfs for the worst. every version of megaman has a chance to get in in some way shape or form. and starforce has a chance due to the fact that capcom wants to milk star force for all its got(and that isnt much). If I remember correctly they were going to make another BN series game for the Wii. I may have heard wrong though. All I am saying is that there are a few things that an go wrong.

The Starforce "movie" isn't so much a movie as it is just a collection of amalgamated episodes of the Starforce/Ryuusei dub, by no means a complete movie. The only Rockman series to have an actual movie is .EXE. The classic series at least has an OVA.

@Lego: Good to know you haven't forgotten my sprite. Yeah, I wanted to keep it simple so no one would have a lot more work. Besides, Stingrey is the best maverick EVER!

I originally wanted to join the HH, but it seems as if they have too many already, so for now I'll hold off joining until the other sides catch up. If none of the other sides catch up, then I'll join the 13th order.

I enjoyed the classic OVA. I watched it on youtube right up to the point were he enters the door into the volcano, then I couldnt find any of the parts after that.

Classic > X = ZX > Zero > Legends > The whole Data universe

Now, likelyhood in Brawl:
Classic > ZX > Ryuusei > Zero > X > EXE > Legends

Reasoning behind that organization:
Classic is first because ITS CLASSIC.
ZX is Classicverse (several hundred years later) recent game series, fun, and better than Ryuusei.
Ryuusei sadly gets next as its also recent and ongoing. Also these last two were all Nintendo, no Playstation releases.
Zero series is also all Nintendo, but we might as well go with Model ZX over RMZ Zero.
X comes next, even if it is the better series, later games were Playstation and it lacks the new of ZX and the classic of Classic.
Once again sad to include Dataverse, but EXE is all Nintendo. However like Zero and ZX, We might as well use Ryuusei.
And finally Legends in last place, a port to 64 from Playstation only series is just not gunna cut it.

No problem, I own the DVD so I felt obligated to help. Just a word of warning though, if you ever watch the other two episodes in English, BEWARE of Roll's squeaky voice. I like Roll, being the first heroine of the series and all, but her English voice in this show is too much. And while we're on the subject of youtube videos I thought I'd take this time to post some that I found.

Actually, Legends DID originate on the Playstation. The N64 version is a port, which is why Legends 2 was for the PS1.

The fact the X series games on PS1 were PORTED to the Gamecube does not undo the fact that they were originally for the PS1/2. X4 on were PS1/2 games. 8 is in Rock Man collection, but it was still a PS1 game first.

Rock Man Dash (Mega Man Legends) was a PS1 game. As already mentioned.
