Jacko - there are people that play at UMBC. For instance, UMBC Super Smasher (on the board) actively plays. He's the best there. And I live very close to UMBC, so if you wanted to ever Smash you'd have us two. Along with other people in the general Baltimore area.

Edit: Generally I think UMBC said he pretty much four stocks everyone else at the school that he plays, the better players there (like Oro) have already left. So if you want the title of best in UMBC, beat UMBC SS. >.> <.<
