Charizard's tough. I can't wait until nair is nerfed -- as is, it's really difficult for slow characters to contend with him in neutral.

It seems like Charizard really quickly stole away the nerf ranting from Wario.

Maybe CT's tier list for both of them was at least right in that aspect.

Maybe, @ Overswarm . I doubt Columbus is going to want to travel down to KY for casuals, but if the bug strikes, I'll definitely try to.

Let's talk and shoot around stage stuff + things I want to/should improve on. I work a fair amount + transit so FB isn't going to be the best option. Maybe we can chat via PMs for a bit?

Consider it a Smash training party. We'll grill burgers and potatoes and have a bunch of setups and I'll teach you guys matchups. I play about 1/3rd of the cast competently enough to where it can be considered matchup practice at this point.

I disliked seeing people losing to Hatz' Charizard when he was telegraphing everything so hard. Charizard isn't bad, but other than Jigglypuff and maybe Peach in a neutral setting people shouldn't be having problems with his nair and should be punishing it every time he shuffles it.

If you watch his Charizard, he stays in place or moves away each time he nairs. He runs up to get just out of range, faces away, then shuffles a nair so that attempts to punish or approach are hurt... but you yourself aren't in danger until you move forward. Everytime he hit a shield with a nair it was punishable, but no one walked forward and just shielded, no one played him like he was marth or jiggs.

Jiggs has some serious problems with Char's nair though, that would be tough.

I'm going to be in Ohio for 2 months during the summer (June and July) I'm over in Reynoldsburg/Pickerington, which is about 30 minutes from Columbus. I don't wish to get rusty over the summer, so I'm looking to play with some professionals while I'm there. Anyone willing to practice, and possibly attend tournies?
