Err, anyway, Bomberman could get the spot. You DO have your opinion though. It's good that not EVERYONE likes Bomberman as much, since well... We'd have too much speculation and OVA 9000!!!1! posts in one day.

I don't believe that we'll get 3 3rd Party Characters. This came from the man who said Game and Watch, Y. Link, and the IC's would get replaced by Bowser Jr. (W00T!), a certain purple dragon with phir3 (UBER-W00TZORZ!), and Wind Waker Link (Eh...). IC's: confirmed. Besides, I'd say four or five would be a better amount.

But then I could be wrong. It's happened before.

Does anyone know what path this club will go without RDK and Deathborne? We're all gonna die...

Sakurai was also the man who said SSBB would be released Dec. 3rd....

I'll still drop in from time to time - it just won't be as frequently as before...

Anyways, before I leave, I'll drop this though: Do you think that Bomberman might be able to have additional functions with certain bomb items over other characters? It would certainly be interesting I think.

This was brought in the old thread twice- near the end and near the middle-ish. We decided that yes, he should, mainly bob-omb kick. Anything else wouldnt really work.

I agree. His chances are higher then most people admit.
I'm sure everyone wants as many third party characters as possible but I just think people are being realistic.

I am one of the people who don't want unlimited 3rd party characters. 10 would be too much for me. I was happy with Brawl when I didnt know third parties were possible, but like everyone else, once I had a taste- I hungered for more.

The way I see it, there's a 50% chance there will be 2 more 3rd party characters. Of the chance that there's only one, it's 70% likely it'll be Megaman. Any other possibilities are of negligible probability.

But the truth is that Bomberman WOULD be easier to add--no matter what Sakurai thinks. I hate that argument.

That's like when the Geno fans say "SAKURAI DOESN'T CONSIDER GENO TO BE THIRD PARTY." It doesn't matter what Sakurai considers, you dolt--it matters whether or not Geno belongs to another company. Which he does--he belongs to Square.

It's a stupid argument, and it's stupid to say that Sakurai doesn't consider Geno to be third party. I dont' know where the hell they got that quote from.

What if Bomberman had the Guardian Armor from 2nd Attack as part of his moveset? How would that be implemented? Would it effect his B-moves, or would he have the same attacks that he would have if regular Bomberman got put in?

Alright, I suppose I would main him. But listen to this, my list of mains and secondaries. One or two characters haven't been confirmed yet, but meh.

Mains: C. Falcon, Ganondorf, Mario, Sonic

Secondaries: Samus, Z.S. Samus, Fox, Bowser, Link, Ike, Meta Knight, Snake

I'm gonna basically be the Azen Zagenite of Brawl, but I'm trying to avoid that. But, add Bomberman to my mains anyway.

I agree with all in that list except for Pacman. I think if Namco had to choose someone to be in Brawl it'd have to be Klonoa. Though that's quited unlikely since if Namco were to get anything into Brawl it would most likely be Pacman. But hey. I can dream too.

Also I read that whole thread. It was a good topic. Also what Bailey said to Brawlpro in the last page made me die with lulz. (Even if it did help your thread get closed.)

Yep, I must admit that it got funny at the end with the flaming and all. Its ****ed up that it had to close because of it, but like Fdv said, it got immature and flame-tastic.

Also, why are people still whining about how Bomberman would use nothing but bombs? Marth uses nothing but a sword and he's still pretty popular last I checked. And as fun as sharp objects may be, I assure you that explosives are far more entertaining... Besides, if these whiners had anywhere as much experience with the B-Man as we have, they'd know that he has in fact made use of other items in previous adventures. namco has gotten deep into the hole, but if sakurai wanted pacman into brawl, and requested him, due to namco doing so badly, sakurai could probably get him for very cheap or free. making for a easy to get and make third party character(man I hope I am wrong and we dont get the yellow sphere.)

He is nice, and I have defended him before about his spelling, but that was when it was just normal "new-to-internet, has-bad-spelling" syndrome. Now he's clearly doing it on purpose.
It's not so much that I can't understand him (I have little difficulty), I just hate people that talk like that.

I've been thinking about an Assist Trophy for the Bomberman franchise: Rukifelth from Bomberman 64: the Second Attack!

He floats into the background a bit, enough that he'd be standing on Battlefield's sundial thing, or on the edge of the Bridge of Eldin. (DUH.)

Anyway, he'd first use Blood Sword, stabbing his sword into the ground. A huge blade would erupt from below the enemy with the lowest damage, doing 15%. You could only dodge it if you jumped up higher than Falco's initial jump in Melee, since it follows you until it pops up.

If the foe is at or has more than 75%, then Rukifelth continues with a dash towards the victim, and slashes him, much like Lyn, but with a lot less knockback, and 15% as well.

OR, if the victim has less than 75%, he'll attack something that I believe resembles his OHKO. He dashes towards the foe, illuminated in dark light, lifts up the foe, and slashes upwards, the attack being INCREDIBLY powerful, doing 30% and KO'ing even Bowser at 80%.

Maybe that's a LITTLE too broken, but meh.
