I don't really know if multiple move set suggestions will help the thread all that much - they sure didn't help out my Mach Rider thread all too much...:embarrass

At any rate, the Standard Special Move should be planting a bomb (up to 3), each with a 5 second fuse. Walking into a bomb would result in Bomberman kicking it, just like in the games. He can also pick them up by pressing A then tossing it by pressing A again, as can every other character, but only Bomberman can pump the bomb to increase it's size and firepower.

The Ridley thread got on top for being the second best thread at SWF. The original thread had twice the amount of posts the second one has now. It was a freaking monster.

In any case, the front page of this thread needs some Geno / Ashley pwnage. I'm gonna work on that pic I keep promising.

RDK I added abit to the argument section, concerning whether Megaman would get in over Bomberman. It was looking abit weak.

Popularity is not the only influencing factor when it comes to character inclusion. When it comes to third party characters company relationships must be taken into account. Nintendo have a very good relationship with Hudson. Therefore to get their consent to use Bomberman in Brawl would not be a laborious task. However, getting Megaman from Capcom would be significantly harder to carry out. Therefore Bomberman has every chance of being included, due to the ease with which he could be acquired. Furthermore, who says there will only be one more third party character? Both Bomberman and Megaman could get in.

Side note - what other arguments do people use against Bomberman? Then I could write up so more. All I can think of is the bomb and 3rd party argument.

Those arguments are just a general way of defending against anti Bomberman arguments.

I'm sorry but flaming someone for their poor grammar is pointless. Not everyone will have exceptional grammar, just accept it. I prefer people to post coherently but accept that not everyone will. Posting aggressively towards those with poorer grammar has no benefits.

His spelling and grammar aren't that bad. His ideas string together nice enough that the lack of punctuation isn't too bad, he doesn't use any indecipherable l33t, and he's a nice enough kid that you just want to help him rather than bash his posts.
Just think back to when you were new. I'm sure you weren't the best speller either. Everyone's new at some point, and they needed to be helped along so that, in time, they'll start becoming used to this cyberviroment. I've looked back on some of my ancient e-mails (I suggest you do too) and they were dαmn illegible. Look at me now.

Also, lol at cheese-grater. Obviously you're not to good at posting, either. All those asterisks are really distracting, so you need to either stop using censored words or stop posting (I suggest the latter).

True. If you want to have multiple quotes in one post, there's a button to the right of "Quick Reply" called "Multiquote." Click that for every post you want to quote, then click "Add Reply." This'll take you to the normal posting page except with all the quotes you selected already in there.
If you want to add a quote to a post you already made, simply "Quick Reply" the post, select the text, right click (assuming you have a PC) and select either "Copy" or "Cut." Then, go back to your post, click "Edit," right click at the bottom of the typing area, select "Paste," and the quote will now be in there, ready for you to add a reply to.
Also, since you seem new to the computerwebs, I'm assuming you're using Internet Exploder. I suggest switching to Earthyiff (AKA Firefox). After you do so, PM me and I'll explain some of the nicer features.

And also when I was new here I had the best spelling. I had firefox spell checker... but you have to understand that all I got to base his grammar skills on was that one post back there.

Not specifically new to SWF, but new to the whole computer-business.


I just spent an hour reading articles about "An Exceptionally Simple Theory of Everything," how 42 actually has to do with a great scientific answer, and why our solar system wasn't born in the Milky Way. My brain really hurts, but I think I've figured out a great scientific fact:
Bomberman 4 Brawl!
It all makes sense when you apply large, confusing, and arbitrary mathematical equations. I've even sculpted a model of my theory out of mashed potatoes.
Just thought I'd put that out there.
