Got it, now having to wait for this massive .zip to download. Then I have to extract it all. o_o

Edit: Am I losing my Brawl roots!? Perhaps this is time for me to convert to the... bright side? ;P

:surprised: Never played Melee??!! Just play some VS matches vs CPUS to get the feel of it first. Melee is my favorite Smash lol. Play as whoever you want to, because all characters are viable(unfortunately), unlike Melee.

Right. I played a few matches with Marth and ZSS, but I'm not sure if I'm doing things right or not. We'll see. Want to start a room now? ;P

Ugh, I can either have a grab button or wave dashes, not both. Darn Wii-mote + nunchuck. T_T

GGs Saimunn and Bros

Sorry if I was a little sloppy/rusty. Hadn't played for a few days. Also I got a buncha cool textures on my wii so thats why I was going a bunch of different colors/characters I dont usually go. I was in awe of the backgrounds half the time so I wasn't used to anything cuz it was the first time I've used them in a real match xD. GGs again tho

Btw Saimunn my wii-mote batteries died on me. Thats why I had to leave :(

Leave it to my connection to go bleh at a deciding moment.. GG's Sabre and Hound. I gotta go to work so I'll keep this short.
Heyooo, great games right there! I was actually surprised how I could power shield stuff lol; that solid of a connection we had established. I love brawling you faithful Arena contenders in general, but this connection was just the cherry on the top ;3

LOL Sabre. That Diddy is almost on a divine level(The term I use to describe DAS' Peach)
Well, I wanted to use my 'DERP' taunt after the triple f-smash? LOL, seriously that was disgracefully humiliating.. I actually wanted to stutterstep f-smash (which I managed to pull off once I think..?), but it resulted in this typical WiFi scene.. Peculiar. But anyways, yeah I think I've got the banana game figured out quite as much. Aerial spotdodge + c-stick tilting is such a majestic asset to his banana game (simultaneous pick up and throw of the 'naner), and it worked wonders.. And I'm getting more familiar with the zoning of the tilts (d-tilt / f-tilt in particular) and the jab-canceling options as well. Still I think he's just a tad random though lols. I mean no matter how indescribably and unmeasurably much I appreciate your compliment (thanks a thousand times for that, because that's not quite the compliment I receive every day xD), I'd say that I'm still pretty far removed from such an extraordinary level really.. But ah well, I'm glad to reap the rewards from the effort I have devoted to the lil' monkey ^^

Oh and lol, why is your :mario2: such a pressure machine? Would you care to elaborate on that? XD
Seriously how do you space that f-tilt correctly even though its reach is like.. naught, and the vulnerability incurred by its posterior lag poses such a menace? The frame on the f-tilt is great though, and you utilise it supremely well. Not to mention the capricious use of up-b rofl; you taught :falco: man, you bloody stigmatised your pizza-signature into his feathery derrière T.T It's difficult to execute the perfect frame walking CG on WiFi though, hence the pitiful attempts at doing so ;p. But nevertheless, :falco: deserves such a battering, and well; good riddance! I love it how sophisticated your :mario2: is with the fancy ledge cloak-cancels and the landing grab reads and stuff; just great.

Very nice mind gamey double-jumps>side-bs with Bowser, Hound. I really gotta learn how to do that with him perfectly.
Lol this also; y u read so hurrddd Hound. Sometimes you've got like such petrifying reads.. Just like how you read my counter with :marth: during the 1v1s succeeding the 1v1v1s RR lols. Then again I anticipated the f-smash suspense during the second attempts at going for the f-throw -> f-smash XD. If you would have grabbed me on that one, I would have probably jaw-dropped IRL LOL (besides, you knew I would have withdrawn into my shield like a cowardly recluse after that whimsical f-throw trajectory).

Speaking of which; your :wario: wasn't half bad man ;o. I pondered the fact that you abstained from using n-airs though; :wario:'s n-air is like, incredible o.o
Apart from the rogue d-smash and the somewhat questionable bikes (?? :p), I foresee a prosperous future for him as character in your prime arsenal :D

Furthermore; sorry for :metaknight: v. :yoshi2:, you should have won both of those matches.. Your :yoshi2: wholly exposed my options, hence I had to resort to dat 'Nado mehh.. The fact that I used it as often as I did against your :yoshi2: is nothing but an indication of the pressure you exerted onto me, just bear that in mind. And the egg throw combos rofl.. ridiculous. Egg throw into u-air is complete lethality .____.
Similarly to Ace's :mario2:, your :yoshi2: just has those impeccable tricks under its sleeve, which astound me at times.

And ehm, your other characters convey quite the impetus your :yoshi2: has as well, but they are by no means anywhere near the flawless zoning (because that's what :yoshi2: is about right?) of that jurassic menace.. I hope you perceive this as a compliment, because your other characters are quite refined as well. Your :yoshi2: just excels them royally.

Would you guys be so kind to provide me with some feedback on my :marth: perhaps? I know you are very capable of providing me with insightful tips and recommendations with the experience you've got! :)
I tried to occasionally blend in an f-tilt / jab to sophisticate my game slightly (contrary to the conventional and mundane f-air walling..), but well, it's pretty difficult to effectively use those moves really ;p

It's cool man! As described above; I had a blast battling you fellas again. And I didn't think you were sloppy at all (also to be inferred from the abovementioned) O.o

Crap, that makes me wonder how boundlessly proficient you actually are when at full strength lols xD

 Thanks I like aerial characters so I was improvising and what not. His movement is akin to :squirtle: so adapting his style into a punish-and-run playstyle wasnt so hard

Plus I cant tell you how hilarious it is to have a Gengar skin over :wario:

And the egg throw combos rofl.. ridiculous. Egg throw into u-air is complete lethality .____.
Lol yea for some reason eggs at higher percents send you into spiral knockback. Kind of like when you get hit with a spike on the ground. The hitstun and appliction for followups is pretty awesome :p

And ehm, your other character

XD Thanks I appreciate it. Sometimes I think excelling with only Yoshi is a bad thing. How I'm not that good at other characters. But then again, Yoshi's my main/homeboy so i'm pretty proud of it

Ah, I see... It figures, I got the normal set a few months back. :p

Would you be able to send me the download link to the correct code set? I can't get on the Project M website for some reason.

That is, does it have a Mediafire link? ;O

Edit: You guys go ahead actually, since I'll be a while yet to download and figure out how to make it work.
There are actually a lot of advantages to having the normal set, the disadvantages being that you can play online, nor can you save your replays.

Sure!

I'm a seasoned P:M player but I haven't played in about a month (university has been crazy) so I might be a bit rusty.
Don't be too hard on my partner he hates fighting Zelda lol

Dat upside down smiley is allocated to my liking :D

OH GOD, I DIDN'T MENTION THAT TERRIFYING :squirtle: LOL. I mean what the hell man, just what the hell. I think that PETA have managed to diplomatically assert a policy with which the injection of steroids in turtles was prohibited, so please refrain from doing so :')

Good stuff, good stuff.

Plus I cant tell you how hilarious it is to have a Gengar skin over :wario:
Oh god, that is ingenious; the whimsical movement of Gengar as a pokemon completely matches :wario:'s static movement xd

Hmm yeah it's quite similar to the :zerosuitsamus: d-smash spiralling knockback succeeding the actual stun time (like the 'falling' animation). Those frames allow for the scrutinous positioning of the b-air and is a great setup for other combos as well. But yeah, the egg toss every now and then is like; NUHHHH, here comes the follow-up lol. It's not nigh on as predictable and telegraphed as the d-smash follow-ups >_>

XD Thanks I appreciate it. Sometimes I think excelling with only Yoshi is a bad thing. How I'm not that good at other characters. But then again, Yoshi's my main/homeboy so i'm pretty proud of it
Not at all! I think your :yoshi2: elevates the character in general to a higher tier lol. You've eliminated the recovery impediments by always choosing the secure option, and the zoning, again, is just.. Ugh, indescribable. You're entitled to feel proud in that regard :)

Moreover, there is absolutely no shame in specialising in one character. Like literally; nada, nop, nothing, naught. In fact if you were to invest even more time in soley him, I bet that it will be nigh on impossible to grasp a victory against him XD

I'd be glad to, but I can't just know cuz I gotta go eat and what not :p

I'll reply back in a bit.
Splendid, I'll be hearing from you shortly then ;3

Ouch, those four stocks were painful. xD

This game is such a switch from Brawl. It's so much faster paced and you can actually be rewarded for going in. I really like it so far.

Good games, Alexo. Needless to say, I need some major work. :p I was missing L-cancels like no tomorrow. I also need to find a way to reliably grab the edge, as I have no clue how to so I had to solely stick with edge guarding instead. Let's not talk about the horrendously greedy missed Rest attempts which led to extremely embarrassing Falcon Punches and Knees of Justice... I swear, U-throw - Rest works on someone, I guess not Falcon, lol...

I'm curious, what'd you think of my game play?

GGs Not much to say but... DAT PUFF DOE. Yeah you know just get accustomed to P:M and you will be solid.

Your gameplay? When you tech you need to tech roll more, same when you miss the tech. Also tech skill is something everyone can improve on. I couldnt tell if you were missing Puff Lcancels lol. I guess work on Lcancels lol, if you say so. Your actual gameplay was solid though. Your Marth looked like he knew what he was doing, as well as your Puff. Just the details of your game.

Wavedashing backwards offstage is the most reliable way to grab the ledge for a ledge-hog, also I'm not Jiggs expert, but uthrow to rest only works at low percents if I'm not mistaken, also utilt combos into rest as well.

Thanks, that's really helpful, gotta practice that a few times and get it down pat. I think that might actually conflict with something though... I can't use my grab button to wave dash, and if I want to use that button as shield (for the best possible wave dashes), then I can't use it for grab. xD

Puff was decent!? Well, that's good news. Just have to try all of the rest of the characters and see if anyone fits my play style better. ZSS is fun, Marth is... kind of fun, and Jiggly's aerial game is really similar to someone I play in Brawl (who I can't remember at the moment...).

GG's. Your Ganon gave me some trouble, especially with his edgeguarding. Also his down-b. Omg. Kills so early.

Doesn't everybody?
We need to play together again soon!
For sure if you're still on we might be able to get some doubles going because j-slo is my doubles partner irl, and it looks like there's a few other P:M players on the arena at the moment.

Hopefully the next time we try to play, it will let us. I never got to play you lol.
He's pretty good, definitely the best Zelda I've ever played against. Also, perhaps you and Diddy would like to play some doubles with j-slo and I?
