I watched them before you put them up. Those matches are very good. I liked how you punished certain things. Sethlon camped well, but I didn't see any extraordinairy things form him this time.

He couldn't pull of certain things against me, and falco dittos are much different now with the smash DI'ing towards the stage after the cg spike.

That's pretty good stuff. I'm actually trying to improve my game with Falco right now since I need a good character, who counters D3. I liked the video's. It's good to see new Falco stuff to see where I have to work. I also enjoyed Chillins latest videos but yours are a bit flashier^^

was this thread really necessary?
yes, you and Sethlon both have amazing Falcos, but a pointless thread is still a pointless thread.
Yes, watching two of the best Falco players we have go one-on-one couldn't possibly give us any insight on Falco's metagame.

So am I the only one surprised at the lack of Utilt? I like utilt...

Regardless, great matches man.

Well considering the Falco video thread is basically dead, I see no reason why he shouldn't.
Not only is it a match between two amazing Falcos, but it also shows that Falco dittos don't have to be as gay as people make out.
@SK92 Awesome vid, your Falco is great fun to watch.

You sir missed the point

You got the point, but the Falco video thread wasn't the only option for placing this, he could have put it in his thread which is very popular and never overlooked.

But w/e it's not a huge deal, we get quite a bit of pointless threads anyways, at least this one isn't asking about the gatling combo.

O.O @ seth's use of ftilt.

And SK, you're right, the metagame is definitely changing, a lot of cool new mindgames and other little things. I learned quite a bit off of the matches.

SK92, I really like how you can cancel phantasm at will at any spot, even in a competitive environment. Please don't flame me, this is just an opinion: SK92, I think that play a more fancy game, with more "mindgames" (like doing an F-smash in the opposite direction, phantasm canceling).
Sethlon, I really like your use of Ftilt as a punisher and spacing tool, it works well and keeps you unpredictable.
It's great to see the two best Falco's play each other! All of the matches were amazing.

I did the exact same thing. His F-Tilt is brilliant. After watching these videos, I jumped into practice mode to better nail my own F-Tilt usage.

Just an observation of the metagame: Jab and F-Tilt seem far more important now than they were towards the beginning of brawl. And IAP was probably the most important "find."

The reverse F-Smash is actually more effective. Doing it in the reverse direction near the opponent allows the strongbox of the attack to hit. Its not really being flashy its just a better use of the move.

I noticed that both SK92 and Sethlon use Fair more often than usual. Is it for mindgame purposes or something that Falco players should be using more often?
Sethlon has a mastery of lasers and his strategically placed Ftilts are amazing.
The overal "flashy" play style has to go to SK92 though. Canceled IAP are always something good to have mastered.

Great work to the both of you.
