this is an internal ip, it is reserved and is not used for external ips. he just directed us to his router or another pc on his network.

i know about this but we can all agree despite the "server" mispelling, internal IP address, the man just wants people to join his SMASH SERVER which isn't funny at all.

Think about those brutal hours trying to set up a kaillera server... sweating... food bits in his keyboard as he tries to eat while vigorously forwarding his ports only to realize he had it in UDP. the countless technical support messages he posted on the kaillera site only to realize that site is dead as ****. the hours in trying to troubleshoot why the kaillera release he got kept getting errors upon launching and then realizing he had to update java. and then the pain to scour the internet to obtain emulinker X/emulinker SF upon hearing about a newer version of kaillera only to find himself in various warez sites claiming to have uber download speeds of emulinkerSF and he ends up getting viruses as a result of this. he stays up late at night and gets in trouble... he is willing to sacrifice his 728 KB/s download 320 KB/s upload internet bandwidth and his old pentium III computer for the kaillera server

...and for what? just so we can all have fun and play smash on his server and yet, you guys make fun of him.

the guy was spamming his router ip in main chat telling ppl to join his server. Hes also the same guy who recently asked me on youtube how to connect to galaxy64, so I doubt he knows anything about making a kaillera server. I just found that funny.

it's funny because YBOMBB is actually quite overrated by alot of smashers but still quite respected however even though being overrated.

YBOMBB has a good style, but he's about as predictable as someone for his skill level can be. Because of his style, a lot of people (including myself when I'm not thinking hard about the game) have difficulty adapting to exploit his predictability.

A while back I used to practice against level 9 cpu's trying to get the perfect match, and so whenever I took a hit I would reset the game with Start>A+B+Z+R. Anyway that became habit and when I played someone on P2P the habit carried over and I reset the game when they hit me. They were not impressed lol.
