No kiddin'. Vs. the scrumptious fish:

Torterra w/Choice Specs
Relaxed/Overgrow
200 Def./ 200 Sp. Atk./ 110 Sp. Def.
+ Frenzy Plant
+ Earth Power
+ HP Electric
Thus begins a holocaust.
That doesn't work - you have over 20% chance to be outsped and 2HKOed by Aqua Tail. Also, HP Electric fails to OHKO and Earth Power has a chance to fail to OHKO.

Umm...where are you getting this data?

Adamant 252 Att CB (459 AT stat) Relicanth's STAB Aqua Tail does 41%-48% damage to Relaxed 200 (352 DF stat) Def Torterra.

Even if you rolled max damage twice, Torterra would be left with 4% health after that second Aqua Tail, and be able to OHKO with Frenzy Plant (363%-428%) or Earth Power (109%-128%).

What calculator are you using?

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

And yeah, my Altaria still beats it either way, so it still stands.

Falcon Punching people with Jigglypuff.
Meh, I wasn't being too serious. It gets the job done anyway.

Porygon2 @ Choice Specs
Calm/Download
252 HP / 216 SDef / 40 SpA
-Ice Beam
-Thunderbolt
-Dark Pulse
-Tri Attack

This would probably make more sense if I was actually going to use it in a battle.

It would also make more sense if you knew the rules from the first page:

14) For Choiced movesets, make sure that ALL moves work against what it's supposed to counter. For example, don't post a Choiced Slaking with Shadow Claw on something like Lopunny, as Shadow Claw would not be able to beat the previous counter.
Tri Attack does 38%-45%;
Thunderbolt does 30%-35%;
Dark Pulse does 25%-30%.

The only attack to beat me with is Ice Beam, so I'll counter with this:

Walrein @ Leftovers
Careful/Thick Fat

I might ban choice items just because no one seems to be any good at using them >_>
:flame:
If too many people just play them willynilly, I guess it would be fine. I still loved that Choice Eruption Typhlosion. :p

I'm about to piss someone off.

Hypno @ LifeOrb
Adamant/Insomnia
150attack/252specialdefense/108speed
Ice Punch
Wish
Belly Drum
Trick Room

Lets see.... more than enough special defense to make your moves 5+ hit kills. An ability that makes your Sleep Powder worthless. Ice-Punch is easily a 2-3 hit kill at worse. Wishes to remove some of the damage of Leech Seed, and Bellydrum to ensure that Ice Punch kills.
TrickRoom is in effect for the next counter as it switches in, and then for the next 4 turns. :p I've wanted to do this for a while. :p

Where spelling doesn't count for anything.
I would like to start being in the counter game if i can but how do you guys do all of the damage calculations because i don't want to put up something stupid and then realize that is doesn't work. I have found a few calculators by googleing it but I want to know what the best one is or just a good one.

Vs. Hypno

Sharpedo w/ Life Orb
Naughty/Rough Skin
252 Atk/252 Sp.Atk/4 Spe
-Crunch
-Hydro Pump
-Earthquake
-Ice Beam
Crunch 1HKOs before you can get a boost. Unboosted Ice Punch only does about 20%.

I built a spot-on calculator in Microsoft Excel, but I'd recommend you use the damage calculator at Psypokes.

EDIT:: *deleted counter, even though it would whoop some arse*

Try the Marilland site. Its calculator calculates.

Against Hypnotoad:

Lapras w/Life Orb
Brave/Shell Armor
200 Atk./ 100 Def./ 110 Sp. Atk./ 100 Sp. Def.
+ Curse
+ Avalanche
+ Waterfall
+ Thunder
Begin the Quagsireage.
Hypno was countered. Lapras can be 2HKO'd by Sharpedo.

Cloyster fails.

Sharpedo's Hydro Pump is a 2HKO (66%-77% each hit).

Kinda weak, but sturdy as hell. Mach Punch is a OHKO though :)

Electrode @ Life Orb
Modest/Soundproof
252SpA/252Spe/4HP
Thunder
Mirror Coat
Hidden Power Grass
Magnet Rise
:flame:
Hm... Do I still win if the Pokemon that I am to counter kills itself while it beats me? Or do I have to be able to fully survive while I defeat it? I have a Pokemon that can win, but if Electrode uses Thunder, then HPG, then Thunder again, it will kill itself while defeating me, since on the turn that it uses HPG, I'll be doing 78% on average, and it will have lost 20% due to it's lifeorb. If I did a little more than that, I'd have definitely won, but if I do minimum, he could survive. His other 2 moves are worthless to it, and if it uses Thunder twice, my Overgrow will guarantee like 123% killage...

Sceptile@MuscleBand
Adamant/Overgrow
4hp/252attack/252speed
Moveset1:
LeafBlade
SwordDance
Earthquake
RockSlide

This is the moveset if my counter is approved, despite Electrode having a chance to kill itself along with Sceptile.

Moveset2:
LeafBlade
SwordDance
QuickAttack
Earthquake

If the first set doesn't work, the second set will, since not a single one of Electrode's moves 2 hit kit kills, and the first LeafBlade will do enough that a Quick Attack will finish. If the counter game allows Average damage, the first counter will definitely work. If I do just minimum, I might not win with the first set, but the second set does work definitely. Counter accordingly.

If there's a chance your counter wont work, don't post it, it's as simple as that -_-
:flame:
But.. but but.... ;.; only 2% away from medium damage.... darn...

Houndoom@LumBery
Timid/FlashFire
4hp/252specialattack/252speed
NastyPlot
DarkPulse
Flamethrower
HiddenPowerfighting

Lets see.. Flamethrower powers me up.
Substitute gives me another turn to Nastyplot.
Roost through a +4 DarkPulse. I dare you.
And Toxic is nulled by the LumBerry, although you'll still die fast.

Keep laughing at me. I just thought that it could have worked...

Edit:Wouw, congradulations. You are the reason there is a Lum Berry attached, you and that SleepPowder SwordDance Bounce Jumpluff. It's not stoping me this time though.

Vs. Houndoom:

Hariyama @ Choice Band
Adamant/Thick Fat
252HP/252Atk/4Def
Close Combat
Stone Edge
Earthquake
Payback

Yes, even Payback works.
:flame:
I had a Nightmare that some strange version of Jumpluff was going to counter me. I'm quite glad this is not happening. I'm learning from past mistakes, aren't I?

Lets see... floats over Earthquake..
StoneEdge is a 3 hit kill at best...
Payback does like 38% on turn 1, but 19% damage every other turn.
And Closecombat actually does less than StoneEdge, believe it or not.

Weezing @ LumBerry
Bold/Levitate
252hp/252def/4specialattack (Speed IV=0)
Willowisp
Rest
SludgeBomb
ShadowBall

An Easy Counter, but it still works. Survives the first two StoneEdges, burns you, and then Rests. The Lum Berry activates, restoring me to full power, your attack power drops to the point that StoneEdge is at best a 5 hit kill, not to mention the damage you take over time. Alternating between SludgeBomb and Rest will allow me to win at this point.

If you poison me, I'll just shift it back to you. A very slow kill by Night Shade spam/PP stalling. You 9hko me with Sludge Bomb... hf.

Swords Danced Sucker Punch (lol priority) is a guaranteed 1HKO. You lost the game.
