We've known about it, thanks. Good thing we can still **** Ness, anyways. lol

I'm not one for discussing matchups, maybe some more patient people would want to.

Yeah its been known. But, just the fact Marth gets a safe ko move on Ness and Lucas due to grab release was always enough for me.

eh play me i'll assure i can still get you :p

but yea if you just press A while hitting Ness all the time yea its easier for him to get out but if i time my A hits it will be harder for him to even try to DI .... but yea :/ if you can tell Thesage to learn this extra inch DI lets see if it works when i face him again :x

Timing the A hits make it alot harder for him to DI

awww... no more cheap KO's that require zero skill anymore... that ruined my day... too bad for them we can **** them any day of the week.
Nah...

who cares about the grab release, you still play ness
Oh and what is wrong with that? Ness canon wise would take Marth in more ways then just one...

The shear amount of badassery in Ness can't be contained in this one post...

Of course Lucas has bad *** points as well...

Marth has the mother ****ing fire emblem, *****.

You could blow up planets, desolve the quintessential existance and melt the 4th dimension; you know who or what will be the last thing to survive?

Not cockroachers...

MARTH WITH THE FIRE EMBLEM.

*walks off*.

Marth is immune to anything that is mundane canon wise from what I understand...but how on earth could you call psychic powers mundane? ^_^

Also...still can't hold Ness greatness back...

Don't forget the "tiara factor". We all know why he has it now...

Ok, so the synopsis of this whole thread is "the marth infinite on ness is no longer lethal...just deadly?" Marth could simply drop his tiara on Ness and wipe him from existance. Also about psychic powers being mundane I always assumed this was obvious. Everything Ness has is mundane (backpack, yo-yo, baseball bat, etc). Even if psychic powers weren't mundane, adding them to Ness is like adding sugar to feces.

all ness players are pedobears........
You need to get your pedo facts right...Pedobear is for loli...

Just because Marth may have gender issues doesn't mean Ness does...

Its Shotacat for boys...please get your pedo facts right please...

Right...because having the power to create and destroy by thinking about it is a weak skill...

Anyway...I'm thinking we should do some match ups like the tread is made for...Anyone up for a few fun rounds? But before I do...

It's true; Marth's magic defense kinda sucks. It's not as bad as a dracoknight's, or anything (lol -3 Res. on promotion), but it ain't good.

On the other hand, you can one-shot the immortal god-king of the Dolunan Manaketes. I have a hard time thinking that children have more HP or defense than Medeus.

So the Marth boards are boring then?

Canon wise I wouldn't call Ness a "normal human" as well...considering how the canon goes for Mother 3...of course the fact that he fights things like this:

as common foes in his game says something...

Who knew life-revitalizing mushrooms had such interesting aftereffects?
Yep...

Yes, having to think to destroy is a weakness and a handicap.

Marth has a sword. Ness has a bat. Marth cuts Ness' bat in half. Marth wins.

Marth's animation for double attacks is a thrust followed by a slash. Falchion looks like an arming sword, or something similar, so I have no trouble believing that it can pierce and slash equally well (his other specialty weapon is a rapier, so I'll concede that he might prefer thrusts). As far as the dinosaurs go, Marth one shots dragons, people mounted on dragons, ballistae, wizards, and pretty much anything that gets in his way. For me the comparison comes down to being able to one shot gods. Can Ness do that?

Also, amusingly, Falchion is not a falchion.

Well that is kind of funny (Falchion not being a falchion)...of course if I wanted to get into errors FE has made about certain weapons...I could be here for a while...but I won't...

I'm also pretty sure Marth has a full bloody army behind him helping him fight...Ness has 3 main friends, a mad scientist, a race of aliens, and an inventor for allies...

Of course the fact that again...Ness' normal foes at the end of EB and before then include demons and all that stuff (maybe I should get a list) with a bunch of aliens who can move freely through time and space...it sure does say a lot about his powers...

Oh BTW...does Marth's power even come close to doing something like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RCZOO5VYI8
I just want to know...Ness and Lucas' psychic powers are the same thing canon wise...of course that video only shows what happens when Lucas gets the powers...it doesn't say what happens after that...

Also amusingly, the most damage I got out of my beast paladins and dracoknights on Medeus was a single hit for 4 damage with a dragon slaying lance. By the time Marth was in range to attack, he'd regenerated all but one damage, which wouldn't have saved him. Turns out that it's difficult but possible to solo Marth's game.
