just wondering, have you ever done double blind with v0 vs 320? i find v0 to sound identical while being a considerably smaller file. [I also don't use any audiophile level equipment].

i havent tried v0s yet. its a lot easier to find 320s no one puts v0s up. im curious though i should try it out.

has anyone else listened to Phoenix's album? i think its really good.

i saw you talking about steve reich a few pages back? idk what your tastes are, but something like that would be good (maybe less intense)

i'm going to download "In C" by terry riley now actually

will listen to everything tomorrow probably

Ask Sheridan about minimalist stuff; I'm not too keen on it, although Reich's "Music for 18 Musicians" is worth looking into since it's pretty accessible and very good.

If you're feeling adventurous, I suggest Lutoslawski's Trois poèmes d'Henri Michaux. Otherwise, I recommend Schubert's Winterreise. You can probably find a lot of good versions of latter, but the former isn't recorded that often; I like the version on the first CD listed here.

foxy shazam was good but a little too eclectic I guess

kyuss is shaping up to sound a little too metal-ly for my tastes
