Good stuff Vato. I may do a critique later if you don't mind. You play much better than I do, don't get me wrong, but if we are gonna break Mario we always gotta look at what we can do better!

-Yep, i usually do that when i'm returning to the stage from high, so i can't be punished or when i'm camping, so i can keep my spacing...-

Do brawl minus videos count? We should have a brawl minus video collection. Mario is soooo legit in Brawl-. :D

EDIT (because noone else is posting here lol…):

This is a critique of Bo X7's recently posted Wario vids:

- You sometimes put yourself in a risky situation by chasing your opponent in the air, where it would have been safer and possibly more profitable to stay on the ground and punish their landing.

- Charge more smashes when standing next to your opponent as a mind game.

- Be careful about being super aggressive off stage. You seemed to use fair a lot when you could have simply fallen back to the stage and punished Wario with something else as he tried to get back to the stage.

- Your empty hopping game is good, just be careful sometimes when you are within your opponent’s range. You get punished a few times for this (i.e. lylat cruise game 1)

- One thing you could probably implement a little better is fireball game. Some more b reverses and retreating fireballs might help mix up your playstyle even more.

- You use your second jump very quickly sometimes. Just be careful not to get punished/gimped for that.

- Be careful not to fall into habits, i.e. when you grab released Wario you always did jab -> walk away. Just be wary of repeating yourself, or else your opponent might catch onto these habits.

- You have a very solid CQC game but I wonder how well this aggressive playstyle works in other situations? Just a suggestion to sometimes be careful when going really aggro I guess.

- On battlefield you can angle up b backwards by pressing back after starting your up b and you will land on the top platform and often avoid heavy punishment like you took in game 3 second stock.

- When your opponent is on a platform, dair works better for pressuring than uair. Useful if your opponent likes to spotdodge on a platform above you.

You have a very solid Mario, which I'm sure you know, but I just wanted to share what I noticed from watching these videos. I would love to play you sometime. My goal is to become the best Mario in the MW. Which makes you the guy to beat, I guess. :D

Most hilarious piece of advice I've ever read.

What the **** bro.
When your opponent is consistently spot dodging your smashes, as he often was in the videos I was writing the critique on, you should charge smashes to punish. Or choose a different option altogether.

Actually most of the time charging smashes like that is a terrible idea, depending on the opponent's character that is spotdodging.

The better option is to just Dair.

It's not an awful idea to charge Fsmash and use the leanback to mess with a person's spacing though, but that wouldn't work if they are attempting to spotdodge.

I'm not saying sit there and charge usmash until it's fully charged. I'm saying when you go to smash, charge it for a split-second instead of just throwing it out there instantly if they are often spotdodging you.

Usmash isn't even a really good idea to do that with though. It's a million times safer and more rewarding just to go for the Dair.

So anyway I ran a tournament out where I am. We recorded some of the matches, but unfortunately not all of them. However, I do have two of the three Grand Finals matches available, and I'd like you guys to take a look and tell me where I fail.

Grand Finals Match 2 - Super (Mario) vs. Jawsome (Pikachu)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kcVxao25v8

Things I've already noted: I'm like a seasoned fisherman the way I'm looking for those kills. So bad. Also that Pikachu jolt spree during the rock formation is just embarrassing.

Grand Finals 3 - Super (Mario) vs. Jawsome (Pikachu)
http://youtu.be/P651nl-fOwM

Things I've noted: Second stock recoveries were absolute flubs, and the first stock was rife with poor mistakes. I'm using a controller that is prone to malfunction, so some of the more odd moments could be chalked up to that, or I'm just brain dead sometimes.

Anyway, suggestions for improvements, such as my apparent need to spam dodge rolls or my oddly successful I-can't-belive-this-worked Fox-like approach to Usmashes?

Edit:

Have some Winner's Finals Round 3 - Super (Mario) vs. Robjoe (Zero Suit Samus)
http://youtu.be/NJbbg9VSJQ4

And a random pools match because why not. - Super (Mario) vs. Red (Zero Suit Samus)
http://youtu.be/EWabdQ_tNa4

Super (Mario) Vs. Red (Sheik). Still pools.
