We need a serious discussion on the zss luigi matchup.

I don't think it's anywhere near even, I absolutely could NOT approach riddle.

didn't the zss boards just discuss it, and concluded it was like, 65-35 or worse in their favor? mainly on the us not being able to approach whatsoever

What was he doing to you mostly? I'm sure the armor pieces weren't the problem...The only other thing I can think of is him keeping you out with SideB/Jab...

Ah...I can pretty much imagine the scenario then...

It seems like when your actually inside ZSS attack range she tends to bait you with spotdode/Utilt since thats pretty much faster than any of Luigis moves...

Her SideB is a pain too since its pushes you back into the sweetspot if you get hit with it...And you cant really punish it if you shield...Sometimes you can get away with not being hit with OverB if your right in front of ZSS face when she does it...If I shield it, I either attempt to jab her as I'm sliding away or shoot a fireball...Jab will add on the damage if it hits/Fireball will give you a reaction that might put the situation in your favor...

haha, sometimes they will just sh over the fireball and OverB again xD...

ZSS OverB can be stopped with Luigis DownB also...I would do this right outside of ZSS jab range since no other move is fast enough to punish you afterwards...

Ehh, I'll talk about ZSS NeutralB and Downsmash in a sec...I don't have any big problems with her paralysis moves since I'm a godly button masher...

i know right? zss is ****ing hard. remix says to just ps her side but i don't think that's reliable enough. fireballs are good in this mu and nado, that's all i know

How does ZSS force Luigi to approach if her armor is out of the picture?

i read in the mlg review articles that m2k already knew the matchup thanks to snakeeee, and all he did was run up and shield lol

i know for a fact is she has to mix up her recovery, you have to know the matchup to beat her (mainly her gimmicks, just like ours)

like once we're inside within our jab range, she can't really do anything (maybe spotdodge utilt, but i've never seen it before, frame trap??) pretty sure our jab beats hers as well, one of the main things i try to avoid in the MU is that Dsmash, that's a easy 35%+ not to mention she juggles the crap out of luigi.

We seriosly shouldnt be jumping to conclusions right away and calling it 65:35 though, sure our best Luigi lost...against one of the the best ZSS whos been playing longer, Nick is probably better overall to begin with (No offense >_<) and we need to play it more with other zss and learn it more before shooting it out as a MK tough matchup, cause i'm petty sure that 60:40 was spwed out without concensus too. ZSS boards are probably just hoping to make their character look even better than it is by calling it 65:35.

We know for sure Marth and MK are really tough, we've played those matchups for 2 years without avail. ZSS? Just a big tourney, a little more, and were shooting it as OMG difficult.

If Im not mistaken, Boss beat Snakee before in tourney when he played ZSS....He was playing the MU almost exactly how I described except Boss manages to PowerShield alot more than most players giving him an extra edge...

Yea, Spotdadge to Utilt comes out faster than almost any of our moves...So its an auto-punish If we performed anything during or before she SpotDodged it...

I thought NR was currently the best ZSS? Who else plays a good ZSS? Dawza?

But we didn't, l was talking about back like 08 09 that it was said to be 65:35 or 6/4 or at least in luigi's favor , idk rumors, or if it was us, or if it was them, not that it matters though.

i know dawza, sovereign, shlike , and snakeee (idk about prime, but he's busting out some 2011 bull**** lol <3)

or it could be really nick riddlee, being really good =/, he's beaten Ally, and taken games off m2k (or just really close to it, i forgot) and overcame one of ZSS hardest mus Larry (probably current best falco maybe)

And hippie, I live 3 hours from NY and I really want to visit. If there is a tourney that MD people go to maybe I can get in on a carpool and hang out? We're bound to go to the same tourney sometime in the next year, right? :D

I don't know if I will be at pound. I'm gonna be in MD for MLG and I was thinking about either genesis 2 or pound. But if I'm gonna be at mlg dc anyways then I'd rather go to genesis 2
