had a great time guys. we should do this more often. I think the only thing we should work on for the future is scheduling someone to come in and record matches.

im ******** on the math part.
i was thinking 8 matches for each person times 8 people is 64 matches.
but that would mean everyone played each person multiple times
when rly it's 8 matches + 7 matches +6+5+4+3+2+1 which apparently equals 36

im thinking about picking up falco to fight metaknight. or snake because apparently snake is ********. ike, rob, olimar, just arent really my style. not that ill play this game much, and i dont think snake is rly my style so i dont rly know.

to mura: i doubt you'll even get many locals in a 10$ entry fee no money tournament. seems like it wastes the day of the hosts. i agree yall gave out too much money last time and i feel rly bad about it but even like 40% of the pot or something would give many more people inniciative to show up. but you may not control the rules anymore, so i hope it goes well. im sure no one from br will show up though.

lol bring it on, ive been playing regular tetris with my gf so get ready. Also i know what you were talking about when you said a guy slammed his controller and did other unnecessary stuff. I saw him do something similar a few matches before and i didnt know if you caught it either, but he was disrepectful. honestly i hate those people, and if he did that to me he wouldve got into some trouble.

anyways i was the one that took you out the brackets i think. the good players can beat my rob but no one there can beat my lucas :p honestly i thought i was going to lose to you. i hate pit user they always beat my rob! somehow my lucas always save me.
You're Nuh? The D3 player who did some perfect down throw chaining and then apologized for it?

Or are you confusing me with BravoNavo the other Lucas player?

If you're Nuh, seriously man, give me a call. I want to play your D3 more. After the 2nd match, I'm convinced I could handle up on D3 but I just never faced one who mastered the downthrow. In fact, aside from Eddie, I had never seen a D3 player before.

I live in the same place as vegta. My sister lives in Ruston, and we have some friends there too. So yeah we come up there occasionally.

Ah, that's cool. I'm sure I'd drive over to you guys a good bit too, especially if I could find someone willing to go up and split gas cost with me. Hour drive on by yourself sucks mentally and moniterally. But uh, I'm planning to host bi-weeklies up in Ruston once I get settled in. Do you guys know if there'd be enough support for that, or no?

No items, 3 stock, ect as the main tourney and then a side tourney(if time allows) based on what more people want: Teams or FFA w/ items.

Ah, you're not the one that took me out of brackets, then. Nuh was - he apologized to me, too, lol. For the exact same reason, major lol.

Yeah, I almost 3stocked Nuh on our 2nd fight and it didn't require a heck of a whole lot of effort, especially since his recovery is so punishable. It was just surprising....hadn't encountered a sound D3 player up to that point.

DDD is amazing if you know how to play him though.
He's also incredibly easy to fight against because he's so slow and lags so much and his upB is amazingly punishable - Usmash eats straight through it if the D3 player doesn't cancel into ledge grab.

The only thing amazing about D3 is his chaingrab, actually. And that is quite good as Nuh exemplified.

He's also insanely slow in the air and his fair, uair, and dair are incredibly punishable. And the only tilt that is amazing is the KO/speed ratio of the utilt. His other two....well, are just there. His ftilt has nice range, but it's not particularly dangerous.

I'm pretty sure that almost any D3 player I ever play against, the only thing I would have to work around is if they have perfect dthrow skills.

Dedede isn't that slow in the air. His dair, uair, nair and bair are all quick. His recovery is punishable but I think you underestimate him a lot.

d3 also has what i think one of the best dodges in the game. his bair and fair arent that bad either. he is also very heavy so which kinda helps his upb being so easy to punish.

negative. the only people i knew there were the nola crew, sudai, deuce (the random decent guy) and hun the wolf player.

nice meeting some of you guys there too. i can now attach faces to names on these boards.

regardless i had a good time playing and i wish i coulda gotten a friendly or two more in against some of the other top dogs. its unfortunate that the may 25th tourney got cancelled. oh well dibbz it is.

edit: even if you have never liked basketball, you owe it to yourself to start watching the playoffs right now. this is the NBA's most exciting year in like 12 seasons. Hornets=broken

I never watch the NBA, but the Hornets Spurs game caught my attention while I was eating out with my gf and her friend yesterday. I missed out on half a steak because of it too.. : (
