Dominic is a TO that deals with animosity with everything he posts and every event he runs. He wasn't being negative to be a ****, he (like me) was just telling you why those ideas will run into trouble. Being the devil's advocate.

I think if I ever had time or an opportunity I would gladly host a tournament and not enter it. I think finding that time would be a little more difficult lol. But I'll try in the near future.

Forgive me if I came off as a jerk. I am the kind of person who is pretty forward with things I say. However, what I said is not necessarily a lie. There are problems with this community and even some of the events that are run - the reasons are numberous, but that's been discussed a million times and doesn't need to be brought up again. It was a simple counterargument to what you stated, because what you said has been said many times before. If we truly understood how important your points were, we wouldn't have to be told what needs to be done to fix our problems. There's a huge difference between what "should be" in this community and what "really is". Don't get me wrong, I'm in full support of anyone who wants to run an event, but just understand that it doesn't mean you are immune to opposition. I also look at it this way, if what I said is so negative, if you wanted to shoot me down, I'd love for a community effort to prove me wrong and let's, as a community, work better with one another to help fix these problems rather than point fingers at one another and do nothing about it. If anything, I feel that's the greatest weight that's been holding this community back from having some great events.

All the same, I'm hype for the next Golden Chariot and I will try to actually attend this time. Got hit with last minute plans so I wasn't able to go.

Edit: Bombsalt? Salter? Saltbomb? Salter7? ehhhhh wut?

Salto Reporting in, played samus at bestbuy. She is a little faster and has more knockback on most of her moves. Apparently the Smash4 testers are saying she is the strongest, but I wonder how that translates from party game to competitive scene. I will still main her if she is bad tier cuz I'm not a tier hopping ho like Everett.

I think Samus is Nintendo's favorite character for this game. Looking at it from a marketing standpoint, she's center stage on the game box. So yeah... just random comment.

In what? Brawl or PM? The dude only lost to Lee and Brawlman in 1 (and beat Justin) and Lee and Avery in the other. Peach doesn't sound like the problem. I can see changing in PM though. I probably wouldn't go ICs in either.

Dropping Peach altogether is like me dropping Zelda in Melee. Putting so much time into a character just to drop them is disheartening and it just hurts more without the character.

He should keep Peach but pick up MK or IC's as a secondary. Never hurts to have a backup.

This is coming from a former Brawl Peach player, myself.

Also, dropping your main because you think it sucks is b***hmade. If you need a secondary, then by all means go for it.
But you put in the time and work for that character, don't go out like a b***h. He'll probably be *** in Sm4sh anyway.

Please reconsider in a few days; I usually feel like this just after a big event, worn out and not planning on any tournies for a month, but it goes away within a couple days. Do it for me! I really need to record as many matches as possible so I have something to study in the inevitable month after summercon whenever I go to 0 tournies and 0 smashfests out of sheer lack of money and sheer excess of distance. It is a full week after all unless you for some reason decided to go to the shrimp as well.
