edit: well the "B" in HOBO is for Brawl, Xyro said if by some miracle he returns, it won't be until Smash 4 is out and Brawl would be a side event if anyone still wants to play it

I feel like I've head this statement a million times before but Xyro always winds up coming back. Last HOBO he pretty much made it out to seem like he was staying. Though we shall see.

Wrong. You're missing the tourney coming up on the 13th at Taylor's. There's also no reason to have links to the two tournies that are already passed in the "Upcoming Events" section.

That doesn't explain why you still had tournies from March up. Also, you personally claimed that it was fully up to date when clearly it wasn't. Had you said that you hadn't had the time to update it that's fine. When you claim its fully up to date then the onus is on you.
This is coming from the man who made the OSF group. Why not just do one stock side events?

I quit originally after WHOBO 4 because i had a daughter/wife/school/work....ect.
As for sync.....
Yea he did 4 events (the Ascension series) and maybe one of my HOBOs after i quit. They consistently got worse (no advertising, no hype side events and bad venue [a Hooka bar that gave several of us cancer]) and the players were not happy. Its not cause he doesn't know what hes doing but instead it was because he wasn't 100% ready to take the torch that i had handed over. Being a TO and living up the the LEGENDARY standards i had set is something no mortal man can do. Especially a MK user.
anyways.....
So after his final event (only 12 showed up and 7 of those 12 were from his house) i literally had people walk up to me and say "we need you back" or "PLEASE fix Houston." At first i thought it was a joke but apparently they were serious because the request kept coming. i thought to myself "I built this city in 2004 with melee and carried it on even when brawl came out....i cant leave my babies crying in the streets like this. what kind of papa lesbian would i be if i saw them pleading and chose to ignore them?" After some thought about all of that, i decided to come back for a temporary time. And since my wife (now ex) became a ***** and i divorced her, a lot of free time opened up for me so i decided to give HOBO/WHOBO one last shot.
So yes this is the final whobo/hobo and no i dont expect you to believe me. How many other players/TOs swear up and down about how they are "done with smash" lol yea i know BILLIONS. So dont believe me, im cool with that.
Other than a allergic reaction she had to Amoxicillin a few weeks ago, Claire has been great. She is walking/running/talking (can only string 2-3 words) /climbing and getting into/picking up everything that is not "baby proof." She is turning 2 years old on July 20th and let me tell you.....it sucks. My parents always told me "they grow up soooo fast" and i never believed them until now. It is RIDICULOUS how fast a child grows. It really does feel as if she was born yesterday. I never really understood TRUE love until she popped out. It is a phenomenal experience.
But yea, enough of the mushy stuff. Lets get back to what REALLY matters in life: SMUSH BROZ BAWRL

No one wants to do that though. As unpopular as Brawl will be when Smash 4 comes out, do you really want to have it run in a way that is unpopular to the hardcore players that will be left playing it?
Also, GC compatible wiis will be hard to find in a year or two. Its not the solid piece of equipment a cube was (they even put a handle on this thing because they WANTED you to take it everywhere) and the newer wiis are only as useful as a wii u (no GC ports).

EVERY SINGLE TIME i ban mk at one of my events i get people who literally walk up to me and say "dude, though i dont agree with your reasons for banning mk, this was the absolute best exp ive ever had at an event." or "man, these results are so refreshing." Its comments like these that prove that banning mk is the way it should be (as ive said since 08 when we KNEW he was an issue). I have NEVER heard those types of comments even after we put and LGL/scrooge rule/plainking rule/stalling rule/banning mega good MK stages (rc/brinstar). Even after all those rules on him, he still wins, still dominates and still controls how the game is molded. People know this and thus dont feel like anything will change until hes gone.
Most educated, non mk using and honest people KNOW that mk needs to go (name your reason, there are billions of them) but they wont stand up for it because it goes against the status quo (too many people are afraid to go against the flow for fear of being called out) and because they know it would hurt too many of their friends/fav players. That is where i come in. I dont give a pile of steaming cat crap about anybody. I do what i want (within "reason") when i want. If people dont like it, dont go to my event. Clearly enough people support my MK banned thought process because ive set records/broke records EVERYTIME i do a mk banned event. Im not saying "im right, your wrong" im saying "what i do works and people like it or else my events would fail."

@ Smashcon - I think either brms or get hypes, not both. And if there must be both, then never put them back to back.
Also even though we like to have focused events (this is a melee special vs a brawl special event) I don't think there should ever be more than 2 tournaments in a month. It spreads us too thin.

Just combine events and split up the TO work. Melee will always finish before Brawl so maybe you could switch over the wiis that are playing melee into brawl wiis until the event is done.
