Most Pikachus play him with Tap Jump on. You can't do a lot of stuff you normally can as him with it off.

I'm allergic to cats too but I have two and, when I'm at home, I probably spend 3/4 of the day with them. I just sort of became immune to it over the years. I still have my bouts every once in awhile but overall I've overcome it.
