gosu, teach me more food stuff, yea?
as for wobbling, i understand they can be hard to main, but if u come across some then since not many know the matchup, wobbling just wrecks you.
so im against it

And gosu you should give cheesecake to the winners or ppl that bring setups haha
Don't know if I'll even make food. Also I give food to people I know/friends, not winners

gosu, teach me more food stuff, yea?
could you be more specific? That would encompass alot of things

as the for the whole wobbling thing so far it looks like alot more people against it than for it

ok what we'll do is adopt previous wobbling rules. players have the option to ban wobbling b4 the crew battle starts, but if they dont and wobbling is used, then it is legal.

also date looks to be april 17th, and venue in woodland hills (818)

Does 949 want to go win this? Zhu/MacD/Connor/Me, then either Kyle or Cameron depending on who can go

By the way, deciding on a venue is much more important than anything else.

ok so I have a lot of things almost done, like venue, working on time right now, and restrictions.

Just curious tho, since MLG Orlando was announced to be on the same date, does this affect anything.
I might just make this a melee thing, and have brawl as a side-thing.

I guess we're the best region then :)

But seriously, who's in that crew? "Cam" house vs Dunk's house? Sounds good to me

This is tewible. April 17th is when Santa Barbara Gamefest is going on. You Santa Barbarians must go gamefest! I'll be there. And I am very sexy.

It shouldn't be a problem. Most people who go to SB Gamefest are local SB/goleta anyway. Last year it was the same date as Quizno's and both had respectable turnouts so this shouldn't be a problem. As I recall only Jun really went to Quizno's over SB gamefest

how is the pot guaranteed?
I would like to establish a reputation as a good TO, but since Ive only held a couple of local tournaments, Im rlly only know as a player (not rlly).

Anyway, Im using my own funds to make the pot as high as I can, however if I get a low turnout, then their is no point in making the pot so high. I dont care about losing money, but a tournament of about 40-60 ppl is, IMO, an average tournament which doesnt rlly merit a pot that high.

So whether or not the pot is that high, depends on the turnout of the tournament. If the attendance is good enough to where I can get feedback from a lot of ppl as well as credible ppl, then i will put my own money so that the funds promised were given.

I was wondering if you were proud of the rampant plastic surgery.
Ah. Well I'm ambivalent toward it. Being raised Korean, appearances and superficial things were made important, but growing up in America I have since lost that trait.

Maybe for the tourney I'll make 불고기 to make it more korean. Kira if you go you want some of that?

hey yo gosu. I've never had Korean food before. If I were to go to a Korean restaurant, or even just one of those joints in IV, what dish would you recommend I order?

Well you can start with basic stuff like grilled beef dishes called Bul Gogi or Kal Bi; I would think you like Kal bi more since you get to pick it off the bone. Most korean restaurants give you kim chi and rice and a bunch of other side dishes, I won't confuse you with their names. Just starting out, I wouldn't recommending branching out into other more exotic things. If you like it the first time then you can go back and exerpiment

as for IV, wasn't really big on IV food as it was pretty meh; I'll never understand the fascination with Freeb!rds. Only two korean places I know of are one next to that smoothie place on Seville and Little Asia next to Woodstocks; The first one was new when I graduated so I never got a chance to eat there. as for little asia it was just okay. same advice: just order the beef dish as I recall the first entry in the korean section of their menu.

Also be careful of kim chi. it's fermented so it can be quite pungent
