Please let us know what you would want in this tournament: regional requirement or no requirement and have and open registration. We are fairly flexible on this

Also note we may end up having an open policy if a large number of out of state show up as we can't realistically/fairly apply the requirement

Shouldn't it be intuitive that people do not want a regional requirement because I don't see the benefits of having a regional requirement besides regional pride?

ya, the whole regional pride thing was supposed to motivate this event, despite their being a singles event (and maybe even a dubs event as well tbd).

But as Ive found out (still) from P and others, smashers will be smashers. So if the whole regional thing does become a problem I might open crews out, but obviously to avoid unfair crews I would most likely restrict crews to two or maybe even one ranked player//previously ranked.

also since I am trying to get m2k over, it would be hard to incorparate him in crews, which is what I want to do since he ***** at it, but more details to come of course.

ok well as far as the rules per crew, it will be tbd, bc I would like to hear from ranked players what they plan to do. If they do form rigged crews that still go within the region qualifications, rules will be bent.

And it is worth noting that the date change has allowed for at this point 99% access of the venue, as well as M2K coming.
