I wouldn't say too bad. TL is light so he gets killed early. And his most used kill move is usmash so just watch out for that and Pit will be alright. Both characters can camp effectively, I think TL is a little better at it though.

I think tl is one of pits hardest =/
Not really. The only projectile we cant reflect is bombs in which case i treat em like nanerz steal it and use it lol. He dies easy cuz we can land fsmash on him much easier he has a semi-hard time dealing with planking if hes losing by a stock or alot of %. And we can gimp him ez with mirror shield if we use arrows to control his off stage positioning. But if you havent learned it...its a bittch mu to deal with lol.

Edit: if you dont know how to use pit and you just wanna use him for the tl mu...just go with falco lol.

If it kills metaknight at 100% fresh then I'm going to be so mad for using fsmash as a gtfo move.
I have plenty of video proof:urg: why do you think everyone i fight thinks its 55:45. I dont die till 140+ while they die at 100-120 depending on what i can land first of my designated kill moves.i've even lived a dsmash at 160. WHen it was only staled 2 levels. Pit2good.

If you want a gdfo move...use jab. It's what i use. Works fine and does 10+dmg.

Its just cuz its hard to pivot and jab when you can just mash the c stick backwards I think.
you dont have to punish a certain way every time...if he spaced wrong and u need OoS dsmash. If your facing him jab instead. utilt. dtilt. shield grab. Dash attack. Arrow. use everything as a possible punish.

@Mysterioussilver Play alot more. Record losses. Watch em over and over till you know what you did wrong. Go back try again. Till you 3 stock em LOL. No but seriously thats all you can do is play more and learn from your mistakes. As a general rule Your only as good as the ppl you play. You play bad ppl all the time ur gonna be bad. There are exceptions though lol. Cuz u can train to read ppl on wifi. And watch videos to make u surpass those bad ppl.

I mean when people land behind me or use crossups, it's more difficult to punish with a pivoted jab than using the c-stick to fsmash the other way. Just a reflex is all I think, maybe I can grow out of it.

So it might be a baby strategy, but I'm starting to count the hits I make after I use fsmash in my head and once I get to 10 hits, I use it again when they are at killing potential. My opponents are starting to die a lot quicker now, lol.

Edit: 9 hits (thx maharba lol)

Do you guys ever try to kill with a glide attack? I do it fairly often...Sometimes its nice on battlefield since a glide attack in such a small space isn't really expected.

Glide attack if angled right goes through the platforms on BF, it can hit taller characters. Plus if timed right you'll ledge cancel it and you can throw out a free bair.

Hold down the jump button.

There's also something you can do with the control stick, but I have no idea what it is and do it accidentally all the frickin' time and I hate it.

What seems to be the general consensus regarding Pit vs Kirby in the Pit community, specifically from non-BBR tourney-going Pits (already asked them)? Slight disadvantage, even, slight advantage? Anything higher/lower?

Pit slight advantage as his dtilt, fair, and nair can beat just about anything kirby has if spaced properly. also we have a great jab with and since he cannot just crouch camp us due to our arrow's aim, he has to approach. if he gets the arrow its 50:50-55:45 his favor based on the stage.

I don't think Kirby getting arrows is THAT big of a deal in the matchup. To me its pretty even to slight Pit advantage. Neither one has a real edge, although forcing Kirby to approach is nice.
