Black Mantis
Smash Hero
Now that ROB is back in the light with Brawl what do you think Nintendo will do with him. May I remind everyone that they plan to give pit a new game so I think ROB deserves a rebirth as well.

Maybe R.O.B.'ll get an ultra-hardcore franchise, where he's on a vendetta against all of the Nintendo characters who have become famous since he was left to die. It'd be a post-apocalyptic Smash Bros. FPS.More like....
E3 2009- ROB gets a seperate franchise and the bad guy is a little baby who is trying to break ROB (after all he is an accessory)
The cameos are ok but I think he deserves his own series. They could just remake his original games and make ROB look like he does in Brawl. That would be ok for me.ROB's an accessory. Unless you want a Gyromite 2 NOW WITH Wiimote function. Though i do see him making lots of Cameos.

R.O.B. is back. And this time, he's brought weapons.

E3 2009: Nintendo announces R.O.B. Peripheral for the Wii Remote.
I just called it.
We can only hopeMore like....

I think you hit the nail on the head there. Except for the ill-fated Ness, every off-center character placed into a Smash Bros. game has either gotten a new game or a revival of an old one. They had better announce something amazing next year cause this year's Nintendo conference was lame. I think they had a reason for reviving ROB in Brawl. Otherwise they would've made him an assist trophy like that guy from Punch Out (he should've been playable). Besides if they can bring Pit back then anything is possible.

Putting Marth and Roy in Melee brought the venerable Fire Emblem franchise stateside. Even the Ice Climbers got another shot with the re-release of their game for the GBA.
It bodes well for R.O.B.
Hopefully they'll do at least that. Earthbound deserves more respect than what they've given it so far.As for Ness I heard that they were going to put Earthbound on virtual console. With today's technology just imagine what they can do for ROB?
SCOOP!According to Gamescoop, nothing's going to happen for ROB- he took the money from Brawl and got high and now he reads books to little children as community service.
Am I the only one who listens to Gamescoop and TRL? I know that sounds stupid but it was funny as hell if you heard the podcast.
That Captain Rainbow game sounds weird but ROB may make a cameo in it.ROB is going to stay a cameo character, I think. I wouldn't be surprised if he appears in the Captain Rainbow game.
R.O.B Useless????????I didn't know who ROB was when I saw the Japanese leak, I didn't want to know, now I know, and I still don't like him.
He is a very formidable force when it comes to fans.
I mean, nobody really asked for him, but after seeing how good he was (an attempt to make people like him by Sakurai himself I bet), he has several mainers and fans.
Plus, more and more people argue that he deserved a place in Brawl.
I really don't think he deserved a place anywhere.
I would love to have some variety.
But ROB just looks like he wouldn't be able to fight.
He's too......emotionless.
And his victory poses anger me to no end.
He's more suited for a Japanese anime.
You know, the stupid ones that practically nobody watches.
Sorry all you ROB fans, but I don't care if he saved every game company in the world from horrible sales, he doesn't deserve to be in Brawl (he could've been an assist. After all, he's only a toy, but they just had to make him larger and give him a moveset....) and he doesn't deserve a future.
*Pulls out nova beam*
Stating opinion here, don't mind me.
Like who, and please don't say King K. Rool because he sucks.I am well aware.
Doesn't mean that a better character couldn't have taken his place in the Brawl roster.
Yea he's a big ******** alligator.Like who, and please don't say King K. Rool because he sucks.
The thing is, R.O.B. isn't a character at all, he's a peripheral. Try finding a better peripheral to take his place.I am well aware.

Imo the Duck Hunt gun would've made a better character than ROB.The thing is, R.O.B. isn't a character at all, he's a peripheral. Try finding a better peripheral to take his place.
CHALLENGER APPEARS: Super Game Boy?
CHALLENGER APPEARS: Power Glove?
CHALLENGER APPEARS: Nintendo Gamecube Broadband Adapter?
Geussing you didn't play SSE.I don't care who takes his place.
The stereotypical fat-guy-in-basement would work better than an emotionless toy.
And what's worse, his Final Smash reminds me of an egg beater.....I HATE EGGS.
A LOT.
Ever play SSE? What you said pretty much follows the storyline of the SSE verbatim.Maybe R.O.B.'ll get an ultra-hardcore franchise, where he's on a vendetta against all of the Nintendo characters who have become famous since he was left to die. It'd be a post-apocalyptic Smash Bros. FPS.

Subspace Emissary.I hate to ask a stupid question but what is SSE?
So we Play a Robot that sets up Shadow nukes? AWESOME!!!Well ROB did have an important role in Subspace. The main thing is that ROB has potential to make great games.
