And I bet that Cap'n Falcon's Final will be this one:

Here Comes The KNEE!!!!!

Cap'n shouts this loudly, causing all other characters to pee their pants and commit suicide.

Will the Final Smashes come from an established game of a character? Because they just look like uber versions of their standard attacks.

Link's Final Smash=Really cool and uber A attack (repeatedly)
Mario's Final Smash=Uber fireball
Samus's Final Smash=Uber charged shot

What do you guys think? Let me put this out of the way right now: Kirby's cook hat thing is an exception.

Well yeah links main weapon is his sword, so obviously it will be the weapon he'll used in his Final, same wth samus and her cannon, thought it hasnt been confirmed that giant beam is her final, and mario is known to use fire, thus part of his final...

Y'know, I personally think the Final Smashes should be no stronger than 30-40%. Gannon's Utilt is about that strong, as well his his warlock punch. If they are stronger than that, they absolutely garuntee a kill unless the target is a heavyweight on the outer edge getting knocked inward at under 30% or so, essentially.

What the... they had my same idea for Peach's and Zero Suit Samus' final attacks and applied it to Pikachu's final attack instead!

It does look sweet.

I was kind of thinking this would be a final smash week. Pika's final smash is great, but I kind of hoped it was an evolution to Raichu for 15 seconds or so.

HAHA! After Pikachu activates the volt tackle, look at Fox running away for his life. And Mario has a "OMG WTF" look on his face. And that last screenshot, it looks like Kirby is trying to save Pikachu but is too late.

Speaking of Mario's facial expression, it's the little details like that that make me love this game.

yes today's update is the awesome. you would of thought kirby would be first, but pika stands in his way!

it's cool that you can control this one, unlike the others and chase everyone. this would make fights very hectic. although i guess it works like an up b cause pika can't seem to recover anymore after the attack

Just a thought... what if you were using the Wiimote or Wiiimote+nunchuck combo to play as pikachu, and you could aim his final smash by pointing the wiimote at the screen? That would be pretty sweet.

How many times do we have to stress this...

FS = Foward Smash

Final Smash = Brilliantly Awesome Combo Of Nuclear-attack = B.A.C.O.N.

lol, ive never heard anybody refer to a forward smash as FS. its always fsmash.

haha, that would just be cheap for other characters. all you do is point at them and they die, hahahhahah.

Pika's "bacon?" looks fun! I did some reaserch and found something!

I haven't played Pokemon Emerald, but apparently "Volt Tackle" is an actual move that is exclusive to only pichu, pikachu and raichu in pokemon emerald, and it seems that this move isn't in the other pokemon games.

"Volt tackle" isn't a learned ability, but rather, a pichu must be born with it in order to know it. Since this "Volt tackle" is Pikachu's "Bacon" and not pichu's, do you think this could be a hint that pichu may or may not be reappearing in Brawl? Just a thought....

Also, "Volt Tackle" does damage to the one who deals it out, as well. Do you think this means that pikachu will do damage to himself when dealing out the "volt tackle" in SSBB also? Do you think that any of the other "Bacons" will cause characters to deal damage to themselves- example: Maybe Samus turns to ZS samus after she performs her massive blast for her "Bacon?"

here is one of the links i used to find this stuff out:

Loving Pikachu's volt tackle (I thought about this move as an idea, though I had no idea it would work like this), and from the looks of it the Final Smashes are going to be quite varied in style.

Part of me feels that Pikachu's Bacon might be pretty hefty on the damage side too, seeing as it's harder to control than the others, and has a risk of SD'ing, so it probably packs more of a punch to make up for it. Still, chasing the opponents while incased in a giant orb of lightning is going to be fun:p

Also worth noting is that the Pikachu has to be bred holding a Light Ball to make the resulting baby Pichu learn Volt Tackle. Which explains the dubious "Electric Ball" from the article; probably a faulty translation.

And it will most likely not deal damage to Pikachu... keep in mind that the attacks are only very loosely translated into the game. Thundershock in Pokemon is a lot weaker than Pikachu's Smash Thundershock.
But there is the possibility to SD if the attack stops with you heading towards the edge.

Gotta say love Pikas final, and every single final is making marios look like crap lol, except kirby, maybe this week we'll only get finals:

Kirby: Tomorrow
Fox: Thursday
Smuas: Friday

Final smash week FTW!!

Wait a sec, if Kirby's B.A.C.O.N is his cook ability, then wouldn't that mean that all the other characters will be drawn into the cooking pot, cook for 10 seconds, and become food for kirby just like in the GBA games. Somehow, I don't find that hard to imagine.

Some things to note that people are forgetting about: Sakurai said in Mario's update that you should get to a middle platform to have the greatest effect. This means the Smash Ball won't take effect immediately. Likely, you'll just be holding it until you press A or something.

In today's update, he mentioned that you could move around with the smash and you could SD. For all we know, you can control the direction of action for Link's as well. He did say it was like a "personalized hammer," and this fits the bill. He also said you could be hit out of it, like stunned...so perhaps this could happen to anyone performing a final smash. Also, in Link's he said a KO wasn't always the case with it, as you could just accumulate damage. Maybe these little hints are applicable to how the item works in general and may effect everyone's final smash.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I really hope that's what it is. They can turn into the little food items for Kirby to gobble up! (But to be fair, just like the others, it's possible to escape the smash. So, just like in his game, if they're out of range, they're safe.)

BACON for the win, man.

Man, I have no idea what Fox's BACON would even be. They certainly can't make him that much faster. XD

Maybe Fox's BACON will be some huge laser gun enhancement... Like, lasers that automatically lock on to the closest target, and each deliver 10% with minor send or something. That would be NUTS for edgeguarding.

Either way, I hope we get another BACON tomorrow. It certainly seems like we might.

Reading to many Bacon after eating is not the best thing XD I think he will use his Up B but it will be much bigger.
So it would be pretty much like Pikachu's, only you'd be engulfed in fire and forced to go in a straight line? I guess that could work, but only if you were given an extra jump everytime you used the UP-B attack or something. I have a feeling his Bacon will revolve around something he specifically does in Star Fox...

Maybe, it'll be that a support team flies in the background and shoots everyone around him or something. Sort of like on the Great Fox, only, ya know, it would actually do something. =P

Either way, I can't wait to see Fox's Bacon. It's going to be freaking nuts, I just have a feeling.

Or maybe theres more than one Bacon for each Character? Maybe Fox does his Reflector but it covers a big portion of the field.

EDIT: Nice Sig :p

I think that Fox's Bacon will probably have something to with an Arwing strike. Or it could possibly be more similar to Link's Bacon, except with laser fire or karate kicks.
