I must start practicing shield di and raptor boost is more of a counter move. Use raptor boost wisely. The best scenario is make the person use a move and then raptor boost to dodge the move and attack.

Raptor boost is an awesome move for dodging attacks and counter-attacking, yeah. NEVER, EVER use it as an approach. If you miss, you're a goner.

Also, thanks for reminding me of that, teluoborg. Need to practice shield-grabbing with the c-stick

AFAIK, you can grab the ledge without doing the quarter circle, sometimes i get it by just tapping down rofl
