yo Alberta i am planning host a big tourney sometimes end of this year, or mid next year, semester break of course. includes all 3 smash games melee brawl and 64, i will put in about 800 dollars of my own money to raise the pot to attract more players from north america. i hope the lot of you can make to this and help me attract people.

just a heads up now but this place will probably be a big venue somewhere near a casino or a big hotel, or both of course this time with proper housing. there will also be us who can provide housing if hotel room is too costly. im looking for at least 200 players and at least 25+ setups. i will also get my old counterstrike team sponsor (s) to get me additional prize money including ads, prizes and more money (up to maybe 500). i will also hopefully get my university to support me on this.

more info will be there when i make the tourney thread. Alberta and WA should come to this 100% !!!

Long story short, Calgary was being under represented and I called edmonton out on it and to compensate they removed the city from it. Just my opinion I'd rather my city not be on there, than have them ranked as a nub. We'll have a big round robin tournament sometime and have everyone who wants to be ranked on there.
