So, who will post a detailed thread analyzing how good characters are and stuff?
I wanna know how much Bowser rocks and if Pikachu was improved and stuff like that...

While I'm going on Friday, I've just registered so I'm pretty much an unknown. But I was wondering: is anyone planning on sneaking a Classic Controller/Nunchuk into the Smash Bros booth, assuming there's ONLY the Wiimote option? I'd wonder if they'd quickly stop you, or let you go for it if no one else minded. XD

Yep, you won't be able to use your own controller.
Umm... sure, the Wii itself will be behind glass. But why would THAT stop you from plugging a classic controller or nunchuck into the wii remote you're holding in your hands?

C'mon guys, think.

I assumed they were talking about GC controllers because the demos so far have already used the classic controller.

Are you sure the Samus ones you mentioned are actually in the game, or is that wishful thinking?

oh and see if Daisy or Shadow the Hedgehog are alt costumes!!
Theres a few things they could do with Sonic.

1. Just change the color of his shoes

2. Actually have alt costumes. IE Shadow or something like that

3. Add pikachu like goggles ect to him

I really do wonder what alt colors/costumes he has.

Its really not that hard to check the characters colors. Not to mention there doesnt seem to be a time limit at the selection screen.

If someones video taping it makes it even easier. Most of the move oriented things might be a problem checking.....but color wise....thats perhaps THE easiest thing to do on the list.

Checking all the character costumes shouldn't be too difficult, or too difficult to remember if they are just color differences.

But really, I'll appreciate any information you bring us. You guys are great!

Hello All. If anyone is able to provide housing for Deadly Alliance members coming in from NYC, please let me know. Message me on AIM at Kubuu and let me know when and where to find you. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could help us out. Thank you.

yeah i'm sure that color changes are probably the easiest, but Shadow's only possible appearance is as an alt. costume

w00t! got my badge today! Actually I was going to mention this earlier, today was a really good day to pick up your badge early if you were able to, I went down to the convention center and there was literally no line for registration. I bet it'll be packed tomorrow (and friday, the first day I'm going)

Also, the inside of lobby definately reminds me of E3 2006, albeit a bit more sparse.

see ya all there!

remember, I'll be the guy wearing an E3 2007 cap.

Lol, my badge holder is better.

But the badge itself looks different. I guess it's because i'm a VIP.

i wish i could go XD;

just a suggestion that i've posted in multiple threads: try to line up as GROUPS of people, e.g. 10 ppl who will play 1v1s if possible, making for 5 matches to test everything. We should devote the first day to testing this way, which is MORE than enough given all the friggin' people going. That way, once you guys all finish testing, we'll have most if not EVERYTHING finished testing so that you guys can screw around for the last 3 days and get your reward for helping the community: play time with the (hopefully) greatest game on the wii!

EPF what do you think, as cameraman? I mean, since you're recording and stuff, you'll prolly be around a lot of different smashers. Could you possibly suggest this plan to them as you encounter others? I dunno, sorry if I sound a bit overeager to push for my ideas but I'm just trying to streamline the testing process.

Make sure to bring tripods!

Tripods pwn all at video handling quality!

P.S.

Set the refresh rate on the Cameras to 60 hz so there wont be any black bars
