DQ VIII was awesome. The thing i liked most about it was that everytime you thought the game was over, there was always another plot twist to continue your journey or lots of sidequests to do. I loved the skill point system, and creating your own monster teams was awesome. Only thing i didn't like about it was how slow the character moved, but i got used to it.

I played DQ IV for the ds, and the game was pretty good. It was lacking in character development though. Once they joined your party, they kinda stopped talking altogether. Kinda like the hero in DQ VIII, but its your entire party...

Dragon Warrior III for the GBC was my first encounter to these games. All the ones I've played have been quality but DWIII has always been the best to me.

hey guys! ive had dragon quest 8 for about a year now, beat it a long time ago... should i do a new save? i was just wondering if you guys could help me with my dilemma...it's probably still collecting dust in my attic tho, along with my ps2... lemme kno what you guys think, k?
