Oh God... I am not sure what to think... part of me feels that this is legit... but part of me feels that this is just a cruel prank by one of the Duck Hunt Dog detractors who want to get back at me for one of the countless flame wars I had with them over this character...

Even this is fake, I think more people might jump on the bandwagon for SSB5 based on how good this model looks.

I feel like this is a very good fake. It really makes 0 sense for G&W to be next to Wario instead of Dr. Mario, and for Lucina not to be grouped with the other Fire Emblem characters. You could argue that it's because they are clones, but I really don't think Sakurai would group them differently just because of the clone moveset.

Also, no mii characters.

I can see Dark Pit, Dr Mario, and Lucina all being next to eachother because they're clones to be sorta believable. Also, no Miis because customizations are turned off.

What really bothers me in regard with the organization is that Shulk's right by the guest characters instead of nicely filling out the row above.

I wanted to say the new "leak" opened my eyes to Duck Hunt Dog.
I always pictured his infuriating laugh when I thought about him, and it made me not want in Smash, but I like how s/he's portrayed in that picture. Like a carefree happy dog. If he ends up in, and behaves like that, then he has my support.
(I really want a 4 legged character, since Ivy is gone, and Nintendog is still an assist)

You know, I gotta say, that render of DHD actually does looks like something SSB4 would actually come up with, I won't lie to you. It's one of the few things that make me just barely believe this leak.

Duck Hunt was a very big deal at the time and helped to popularize nintendo a bit more. Makes more sense than R.O.B.

And I don't like to hunt but hunting is kinda needed in certain places where keeping animal population in check is quite a big deal due to the lack of major predators in certain areas and invasive species. Freaking feral pigs all over the freaking place. You said save it for another board but I'm not really going to argue this further.

Well...the duck and the Dog seem to be on friendly terms in that pic. Super Smash Crusade has the dog hit the opponents with the ducks but they are very much alive still and are even set free after being used. I could see this happening again.

If you think it's cruel to hit opponents with ducks before letting the duck go, at least it's not as bad as Olimar and his Pikmin. The only freedom for them is death...

Duck Hunt is a lighthearted game about blasting cartoon ducks while a dog giggles at your incompetence. I hope you realize you're not killing real ducks.

Whether or not a leak is fake or not has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not Ridley is playable. Heck, I'm not even remotely suprised at the scenario where Ridley isn't playable and I've personally always been skeptical of his chances, at least more so than,say, K. Rool and Mewtwo.

As for DHD, he actually works really well as an epic troll character, especially as he would be hated. He is pretty much the leaked newcomer on that leak that I am looking forwards to the most.

I think not. I didn't want palutena but was still able to recognize that Pseudo-Palutena was clear evidence of her inclusion.

Hindsight has nothing to do with it. I knew they were teases before Palutena and Pac-Man were revealed.
I'm not claiming they magic teases for Ridley and Mewtwo into existence, they simply establish a precedent of teases.
