The dealers room is such a dangerous place.

Lol I loved how like every other vendor had the Asuka bed sheet. Definitely bought it after passing the 3rd Asuka sheet I saw.

there are none available at the day inn already. lol

marriot is 279/night

hyatt regency rate differs per day so 395/night

sheraton has no availabilty

radisson is 212/night

hotel monaco is 259/night

Rei you could probably stay with a few people going to the con.

A few months before Otakon people usually post somewhere so they can split a room.

I think I went with Crismas and a few MD/VA people and I spent 60 for housing for 3 days. Pretty epic especially since you're only really there to sleep

oh yeah i found some pretty cheap hotels in tokyo

like 18000 yen a night for a double and a bunk bed.

20000 yen a night for tatami and futons.

but i don't think they would like it if we crammed 9 people

they have group room specials (4 rooms) for a week that come with 2 nights dinner, seasoning (wtf) and a bottle of sake.

Well if i get stationed in japan with airforce i'll let you guys crash with me depending on if i'm on base or off base lol.

but like 50/50 that i'll be stationed there cus i might jsut take a job there instead of what i want to do for 3-4 years but instead do something little harder/worse and live there.

That would be interesting to see. I actually have a North High uniform cosplay, myself, already. I went as Kyon last year and this year at a local con (right now, Kyon's the only character I connect with enough to care to cosplay as). For those that don't already know, HERE is my YouTube account, where you can see me do the Hare Hare Yukai in cosplay for the last two years that I cosplayed (I would recommend reading the description, despite it being quite lengthy).

And just because I'm curious: how much are the group room specials?
