I'll gladly switch my avatar to a bigger one, but I'm not thanking DR. Ankoku, sure, but not the DR itself. lol

Do you cut your avatar to 100x100? I just cut mine to whatever size it was in the original picture and let SWF resize it, so I just added the same image I had before again, and it resized it to 125x125 for me.
I don't trust SWF's resizing. I feel it'll make the image less detailed than if it doesn't, even though I don't have proof either way.

there are a lot of things wrong with swf's resizing. also pay attention to the kb limit of images. it ruins the quality if you upload an image that exceeds the size restriction.

Stupid size restriction. This sucks for the 125x125 avatars now. Strangely enough in the end, I'm using jpg files now.

☯ About to watch Guilty Crown since I heard it was similar to Code Geass.... it wasn't easy setting up the 125x125 avatar with the 34.2kb restrict. >.<

Guilty Crown's 1st episode's pacing was pretty much exactly like Code Geass's first episode... (Like how similar events happened at about the same point in time.)

That's pretty cool yet depressing at the same time. lol
I'll watch it by today if I finish my homework soon.

The Black Hanekawa figure I just bought costed me $50 just to ship, and that thing is nowhere near the size and weight of this, so at this point, this Houki will probably cost like $250 after shipping... >_<

Except Minato actually lives within driving distance from you. XD
With how big this thing is, I doubt domestic shipping will be less than what we'll save if we bundle the order.

With how heavy the figures are though, the ratio of the shipping box's weight to the package weight is less, making the difference not that much, so the combined box will be about double of the weight of each of the box with 1 in it.
Looking at EMS rates, that would save 1200 yen for combined weights from 4-6 kgs, so like $16.
That few dollars difference isn't really worth the extra trouble of having to work out a payment method (PayPal would just make it less worth it due to fees) for one to pay the other, and either having to actually go out to re-package and ship it, or to further risk it getting damaged while going through domestic shipping.

It's probably only worth it if they offered flat-rate EMS shipping like GSC does, but I don't think AmiAmi Zero does that.

How would going through a third party help with the cost? Wouldn't it just make it more expensive?

Anyway, AmiAmi Zero takes forever to release stuff, anyway. My friend ordered a Hanyuu figure from then over 12 months ago (when it went up for pre-order), and after 5+ delays, it's still not released yet. So this might take another 1.5 years before it's actually released. XD
