I agree.

I hate when Hazama's use his 214d shenanigans without any actual purpose with it.

Nah, the j.C loops are actually boring. I know several Haz mains who are considering dropping him because he doesn't have much style anymore.

Also, my bf and I just played, and I got him to ragequit and also say "**** Noel," so it's a good night.

Lol, that reminds me of someone on the SRK boards who is getting upset over Noel's drives and going "Don't tell me about 'unsafe on block', or how whiff punishable something is, or any of that! Just tell me how to beat her!".

Taunt Loops will forever be the best loops. :3

I'm glad Tao can still combo into her taunt.

Can Izayoi combo into her taunt? I wonder if it has any bonus properties.

Ah, Tao loops. That character has so many weird and goofy things that she's fun to watch. And then in CP I just witnessed what almost looks like Overdrive Exploding Stein loops with Mu, lol.

Noel is such a fun character, but then again there are very few boring characters in BB. I have a friend who mains her and it's always hilarious to hear her quotes vs. my Litchi like "Your breasts are illegal!" and "Hands off the panda!"

Lol well that pretty much sums up how to deal with her drive. There's not much else to beating it outside punishing the two big weaknesses. Oh Noel, the bane of new players everywhere.

Yeah, I actually think constantly running into players that don't know how to deal with her online hurts me because when I run into someone that actually knows how to (or just anybody from MTL) I'm like "wtf...aww crap".

Yeah my friend hates when I use Straight Through to guard point the first hit of the drive then start a short combo off of it (Her actual combos off Straight Through are so hard!).

I think you mean Assault Through, but year a lot of people don't like that move (but it really is unsafe if done outside of a combo and if you see it coming). The trick to doing AT in a corner combo is actually the timing before the move, not after the move. If you time it too long, they'll hit the ground, do it too early and they'll wind up at head level and you'll have to either backdash or be unable to combo off of it. You'll typically want the opponent to be chest-level. For me personally, if I'm not sure on where they'll end up, after the 4D part of the corner combo, I'll just do a delayed Bloom Trigger and combo off that for a little bit less damage. Of course, I think the timing on that might even be more tricky so who's to say if that's a better solution.

I play Litchi so it is Straight Through actually lol, my friend uses Noel.

Edit: That and Assault Through doesn't have a guard point. I can see how you confused me for saying that I try to guard point and start combos off of Assault Through with Noel when I meant Straight Through with Litchi with the way I typed it.

Ahhh, okay. I actually thought by guard point you meant to say "Guard Primer" and since Assault Through can break a primer...yeah. My bad.

All is good, no insults were thrown. Yeah by guard point I meant that it blocks for you. Litchi vs Noel is an interesting and hilarious MU though.

@1:02 My god, who actually blocks THAT long in this game. Only time I've ever seen someone block this long was a F-kohahisui 300% cactus string.

I think you guys are crazy. CP Hazama looks more fun than some of his other iterations because of his new 214D and Overdrive combos.

I don't know how people prefer his CS1 or EX versions. I found those just too boring.

during the times he's not doing jC xN. Two's okay. But 3-5 times? Eugh. I wanted to try pick him up, but this new loop is just stupid. GORILLA DAMAGE. Though yes, his OD combos look really stylish. Too bad not many jp players use it.

I'm not bothered by j.C loops since Hazama already had those in earlier games (with one less repetition or so). Plus, his new combos and frame traps practically made him Akihiko lol.

Iuno, I felt as if his TK loop was more technically difficult at least.

It also doesn't help how him doing jC makes him yell out HOOORAH every hit (this is probably why I don't like the loop actually).

Combo-wise I like tsubaki's the best. She's still got her air dash combos, she got back DP whiff combos that keep her on the ground again, charge during air combos, and she has some super stylish crush trigger combos. Also 6c jc j.d j.c which is awesome if slightly situational.

There's a lot of bad Hazama vids, but I feel like Noze plays him best and plays him how I picture in my head. Regardless, I feel like I should pick him up again just to make people mad lol.

Bullet looks somewhat boring to me, while Noel and Tsubaki look pretty fun. Ragna's not too bad to me, but it's just a normal BnB change. Litchi's new playstyle looks interesting overall iirc.

Edit: Also, it'd be hypocritical of me to hate loops. I love GG and Marvel 2 after all lol
