I wish the guitar was stronger during the main chorus of Awakening the Chaos II. But otherwise? I absolutely LOVE the starting of the song. All around, really solid.

It's on equal ground with the original in that, to me, it really embraces the idea of...well, chaos. The first one was more tragic and sad (it can still be thought of that way considering Nu's history), but Awakening the Chaos II really drives the point home in that she's the Sword of Hades now, crazier than before. The drums overpower some of the other stuff, I find. My one main complaint for the new one. Asides that? ...pretty hype.

I think Alexandrite is probably my favorite remix. Not really feeling Nu's.

That Alexandrite remix is a lot better than I thought it would be.

Plastic Night, Motor Head, Sword of Doom, LUST sin, and Active Angel, alongside Alexandrite, are probably my favorites. The themes for Bullet, Azrael, and Amane are pretty damn awesome. I wish the rest of the remixes were half as badass as those ones.

All-in-all, the music's alright.

You can find a HQ download for them in the dustloop thread "blazblue OST discussion", i'm not going to link it here because it's technically piracy and I don't think that's allowed.

You should probably wait for the full themes to come out though, minus tao, izayoi and bullet which i think are already the full versions.

I liked Nu's old theme at first, but all that netplay. :(

I've heard that song so much that I just can't listen to it, it would be very difficult for me to dislike a remix of it.

Makoto's new theme is cool, opening sounds like something right out of a Sonic game, definitively not a bad thing.

I really like Tsubaki's new theme though. Tsubaki got all the cool things in this game. :3

Waiting is for the better in this case.
Funny enough, in some of those "previews" (most of the 6-7 I listened at least) there were nice loop points

Can't you also like...just JDownloader stuff? I swear that thing's good everywhere.

Youtube quailty, even in that 720p that channel has, is not exactly the best....

I just like Rachel's and Bullet's. Don't like anything else atm.
Pretty much this. Favorites were those two. Plat's and Tao's remixes are better than the original. Ragna's, Jin's, Hazama's, and Tsubaki's are just or are close to as good as the originals. Carl's, Valk's, Relius's, Makoto's, and the rest are worse than the originals for me.

Arrangements had some of the best parts taken out while some areas were too messy or just too weak. CP's music has a lot of cool new intros though, but I feel they take too long and aren't suited for battle music. Needs to get straight to the point sometimes. Some of these aren't in the previews though like Jin's and Noel's. I think their intros are like 40 seconds.

So apparently DC Douglas (Raven in the Tekken series and SFxT, Legion in Mass Effect, Wesker in RE5+some spinoffs and MVC3) is recording some voice work for Chronophantasma. A lot of people are speculating that they think he might be hired on to do Azrael.

Yeah, I'm having a hard time picturing it. :dizzy: Giving Azrael Wesker's voice sounds like something someone would do on youtube for laughs.

For what it's worth, it's not guaranteed or anything that he'll be voicing Azrael. I think people are just jumping to that conclusion since well...he obviously wouldn't do Bullet or Amane (though him doing Amane would be hilarious) and I don't know any other new playable characters he could be.

It's not like he has to do his Wesker voice for the role of Azrael. He could pull off a more smooth/rough manly voice or something.

It's like labelling me as a young adult type with an energetic voice, while I can actually mix it up and drop some Kevin Conroy deep voice stuff.

Just wait and see. If anything, he may be the best thing to happen to the English voice of Azrael.

Been spending like 10 minutes a week with BB lately, nothing much. But I'm preparing for CP by getting used to what will be the new combo routes. I'm hoping this game comes out August or something though. I don't want to put any serious time into BB until Evo is over, and I want to actually focus on BB for once.

Yeah, I'm pretty much the same. Like, I like Extend, but I want to get to CP to learn and check out a bunch of the new stuff there and admittedly sometimes I'm only playing Extend so I don't go rusty and embarrass myself in 2 weeks.

None of the new stuff works with makoto and so I have nothing to practice in terms of combos \o/

Being sarcastic and pointing out the obvious.
Well, just recently started playing bb(had ex on release date but never really got into it). Since it's my first traditional fighter that I'm actually trying not to mash the **** out of buttons in so I'm currently bad(garbage tier). Trying to fix that though. So I'll probably start posting/lurking here from now on, oh and I main Tsubaki.

It worries me that not even a release date for Japan has been announced yet. :dizzy:

Last I heard, Mori was actually still writing up the story when Chrono Phantasma was released. Though if Chrono Phantasma has english voice actors working on it already, that could only mean we shouldn't be too far off.

One can only hope. I want to sub the scrubbiest Azrael that a man can scrub.

If that's true it'd be pretty fitting I've gotta say.

I was shaking the rust off with a friend who hadn't played in a long time and got my ass beat for the first few rounds last week, made me feel terrrrrrible lol. But I pulled it back a little and redeemed myself. I think my Arakune still doesn't handle pressure properly, but It's slowly getting better I hope.

EDIT: If either of the other rust shakers want to shake the rust with me in the following few days I'd be more than happy to take a half hour or so to do that as well (Minato/Livewire)

Another rumour about the VA cast for CP that I'm admittedly not sure on, but there's apparently a couple of rumours floating around that Karen Strassman (Aigis in P4A, and Phi in VLR) might be doing the voice work for Bullet in the North American version.

Don't forget Poison in SFxTK.

I can totally see that voice for Bullet though. Any rumors on Amane?
