Noooo, Thino....

I guess our connections just don't want to be friends. I'm watching Arakune suspended in perpetual animation doing his j.D

EDIT: I'm restarting the game, we're clearly frozen

Livewire with the most obvious burst in the world. Followed by the worst punish in the world by me.

Well Livewire just finished, but I'll be on getting enough points to buy the Arakune alternate colors if you want to hit me and possibly Crusayer up

Connection's better than when I played Kuraudo. I kinda miss this game after not playing people for so long.

Yeah, that match was a whole bunch of jumble messes. It was almost kinda funny sometimes, lol.

I think PSN just for whatever reason hates Blazblue tonight. I mean, EVERYONE having issues with connections? Yeahh.... :glare:

Oh god lol, why did I try that. I like: Saw Minato playing Platinum and went "oh yeah, I've been ignoring Platinum-kawaii-desukins while I learned Arakune..."

*trys stale Platinum against Crusayer next match, falls flat on face*

EDIT: I can't help but feel like JP Makoto is shouting "Pizza" when she gets hit

GGs, everyone. I'll try to play more solid next time, haha.

Also, nice. I was hoping for a Saber outfit, just because Izayoi reminded me of Saber Lily
with a Z Saber
.

GGs I guess. Haven't touched the game in half a year! I was as good as I could be probably lol

I'm gonna miss my makoto announcer when the next game comes out.

GGs guys. It gives me great hope that my Arakune has reached some level of "OK" when I can go head to head with a Minato and do fairly well, even if rusty. OP bugs lol

Also from Arakune's point of view: Makoto normals... wut r u doing... makoto normals... STAHP

Who'd like to play some BlazBlue with me? It looks like I missed out. Minato, if you're around, wanna go a few rounds as well?

I'll be on the PS3 waiting. But I'll keep checking back with the WiiU for any responses.

I dunno what you mean by that cuz her normals are pretty meh in EX lol
Not when your own normals are Arakune speed lol, it took me a minute of recalibrating to get around her fast jabs stuffing wakeup and stop getting mashed to death.

EDIT: Eh, I talk about nothing ignore me.

I may hop on for kicks Kuarado.

Great games, Livewires and Minato! Great ending with throwing a cow at me. XD

I now realize what I'm going to miss the most. The transition between EX and CP won't be too bad. ...except I don't have Blood Kain unless I use Overdrive.

I hope you realize you aren't supposed to mash on wake up like every time lol. It's in general bad to mash on wake up even if your jab is godlike.

GGs. Gonna try to use Rachel more, even if I don't feel confident on my rushdown and oki with her online.

Everyone in my recent lobby mashed on wake up. I really know I shouldn't but it's netplay. lol

I for the most part stopped mashing and went for jumping. At least against Platinum. I'm better off defending then making space then coming back in with pokes or something.

I did see a few wake up 2Cs or so and even a 6C (on accident I'm guessing). The buffering and online screws me up because I'll dash and attempt 5A pressure only for 6A to come out. Same goes for 5B becoming 6B :ohwell:

I think that's one of the reasons my opponents are able to jump out on wakeup.
That and also because I'm probably timing my bubble wrong.

For me, 5C becoming 6C is a real frustration for me at times. Sometimes I'd try a wakeup 2C to see if I could land a fatal, but yeah. Sometimes it's easier to just guard.

Someday (prolly never) we'll all fight in person. :p And I'll get owned so fast.

Well if one day we all go to Apex or something, it could happen :V.
I gotta takes Smash seriously again to consider building up for a trip like that.

... which wouldn't be too hard at all. I want another crack at Japan eventually. That being said it'd make for an amazing reunion.

Turn one of our rooms at APEX or somewhere the "Smashboards Fighting Game Room"

With stream and/or recording matches and all.

I played too much BB today. Got invited into another lobby.
Luckily it was a friend that lived within walking distance, so my secondaries didn't die right off the bat.

I really want CP to just hurry up and get ported lol.

Good games everyone, tonight. Ah Minato and Kuraudo, so much Ragna play. There were moments where I was like "Sweet, I'm getting how this works more and doing a hell of a lot better!" then feeling all "almost perfected? Ouch..." the next. I oddly enough especially remember that one game I had tonight against Rachel. Like, I spent the entire match trying to bait out Burst and Cat Chair, and then the one time I figure she's not gonna use it, bam. :smirk:

What's with Canadians trying to bait bursts so much lately? lol I see you guys dropping combos for no reason and jump canceling away.
Although it sucks when I do get baited from the delay :-/

The thing about Ragna is that you either figure him out one match and the fight is close, or he flat-out destroys you.

I raged (see LMAO'd IRL) when I ran under your Bullet Storm, only to take a Fenrir to the face.

Probably because if we don't screw up (which I know I will), if you don't burst, you're going to lose the round. :p

Fun times are fun times, but I guess I was trying to think from a tournament perspective. That and at least you're somewhat in the corner still and I can get back in there and push you back in even if I jump away.

Guess this means I can go ahead and keep combo'ing you from now on without worrying about you bursting too much. :p

Unless I use Blood Kain. Everybody bursts on Blood Kain. (Though whenever people do I feel satisfied; just means there's no escape if I hit them again)

I admittedly have no defense for random accidental jumps after the d.4D parts of my corner combos. And I could be wrong, but I suspect the Bloom Trigger branch of the post d.4D corner combo bit instead of the Assault Through branch is slightly less applicable and more difficult to do, but hey, it just feels right even if I mis-time it sometimes. We keep trying to bait bursts to try and make up for the existence of Canadian Bursts in the first place.

Edit: And yeah, that "oh crap Thor missed! Mash Fenrir!" moment was kinda funny and made me sigh out of relief. But hey, it was pretty fun. Barring of course that one bit where I went to Thor Arakune while cursed and took a bee to the back of the head after the first few gunshots, lol.

I was hard baiting jdietz's burst since he bursted like 5 times prior at the same exact spot then he just stopped bursting for some reason =/.

Same with livewire since he loves the panic bursts sometimes.

Not if I know the opponent is going to jump away like an idiot and drop the combo lol.
There's been quite a few matches where this happened and I won because of it. P4U and BB.

GG's probably the easiest to bait bursts, imo while P4A is the easiest to react to.

Edit: It just irks me when people try to bait bursts in a combo that was midscreen or when you didn't have meter.
The opponent wouldn't gain much from successfully bursting there with the loss of so many GPs.

All the more reason for me to take that into account and just go all out against you when I've got a hit confirm next time. :smirk:

[EDIT]

If I baited you at all midscreen then I'm sorry for that. I'm used to, whenever punishing someone in the corner after getting a successful combo off, having them burst on me.
