Spamming get punish easily, depending on the move that's being spammed.
Some moves get punished really easily, some are only punishable on whiff, some require instant blocking to punish, some need to be punished preemptively, and there's a handful of moves that you can't do anything about but block it and keep going.

That's not much of a trophy lol. If that story was in anything but a fighting game, people would laugh it off. Except maybe Moe anime. Sides that, its only in its 2nd phase. Even Street Fighter could have held a story for that long. Won't take too many more titles for things to get out of hand.

It tries to hold a story, but I don't know man, its gotten a bit silly at this point. Look at Gouken, as S-Kill put it, the explanation for how he came back from the dead is "Hmm, didn't expect to be asleep for that long" xD Blazblue sticks hard to cannon for now, but someday they'll have to break it.

EDIT- Is that Eddie's Voice actor playing Ragna?

☆ I'm surprised no one said Makoto Nanaya is going to be a DLC yet, or did someone said it in a earlier post? I didn't see a post about it so I'm saying it now. Noel's squirrel friend is going to be downloadable around August, or so they say. ♛

We did. We mentioned it like a week ago and then discussed other stuff (rather quickly) :laugh:.

Having DLC characters might suck for importers though.
They're going to have to import PSN cards too.

For those that didn't know, someone at Dustloop took a look at the files that were inside BBCS. There are placeholders for not only Makoto, but also Platinum Trinity and Valkenhyne.

While this doesn't mean they are 100 percent in, but these look like the next two candidates for DLC characters.

So then Makoto is on the disc? Not all the files but some at least? I was hoping that this was completely new content, not just unlock code. Is there data for character models and animations too or is it just placeholders like Roy, Dr. Mario, Mewtwo, etc. in Brawl?

Valkenhyne would be a very interesting character to play as. He was one of the Six Heroes after all (along with Jubei, Hakumen, Platinum, Nine, and Terumi/Hazama).

Apparently the data on Makoto is incomplete. As for the other two, I heard there's no data for them. So it's not an unlock code DLC I'm guessing, they just programmed place holders on where the character files will go.

So yeah, kinda like Roy, Doc, Mewtwo, and etc. in Brawl.

I'm not too interested in the DLC characters. I'm going to have to wait and see how they play before they warrant a purchase from me.

Then again, I suppose you can get practice online too.

It's been stated that there will be an automatic update on the release date. So, even if you don't have the characters to play, they will be available to play against.

If that helps.

I hope the American Makoto DLC date is the same as the Japanese one. I wouldn't like to wait a month for her.
