I've never played it since it basically adds three new characters aside from the original, I haven't completly mastered this game yet.

I think I'll stick with AC 3 instead. :)

☯ I plain to get the 3DS version of this game as well. I really hope they don't have touch screen controls for this game like SSF4. x_x

☯ Slowly but getting better with Platinum, I play her online almost as much as Rachel now.

It's good, but you can't use the analog nub, you are stuck on D pad.

CT and CS and are soooooooooo different. I don't know why you're wasting your time on an obsolete version of the game.

Wtf is AC 3.
Why do I always have to be the fish? :(

Is Calamity Trigger inferior to Conttinum Shift? Well excuse me, but I have yet to play it, by the looks of it I feel like a noob! :/

AC 3= Arcana Heart 3

Calamity Trigger isn't exactly inferior to Continuum Shift. Different playstyles for characters is the big thing, and a revision of the barrier burst system. Also, you get more characters in Continuum Shift.

Honestly, if you wanna keep up with the community and all, bumping up would be the best idea probably. Besides, Ragna's combos are kickass in Continuum Shift II.

You aren't the fish, you could be it if you want. lol

CS is just basically a revision of CT, CS2 is a balanced version of CS with more characters. It's not really inferior, it's just old. Like WW to ST or Super to AE. It's not really a sequel it's like an updated version.

And AH3 is the abbreviation for Arcana Heart 3.

Well if you mean it that way " as an update" with more balanced characters then by all means I should get it, I'm obviously missing out and therefore you guys keep getting on the boat. (which ain't happening)

Yeah! You tell 'em!

I'm gonna borrow my brother's copy of CS, so I can practice Platinum. And then perhaps I'll order a copy from Amazon at some point.

Same here with her and Makoto.

And for all the salty jokes I see online, I have yet to see someone make a reference to the Dead Sea, one of the saltist, if not, the saltiest body of water of all. Ever since it lost to that flowchart Ken, it hasn't been the same.

I've made a Dead Sea joke to a SF player, but it was on Facebook.

Basically, one of the guys was having a lot of difficulty in the Guile match-up, so Jon (the TO) posted a vid of someone playing really well against a notable Guile. Anyway, one of the first comments was a some random guy saying how stupid and "faggy" Guile is. Everyone was like LOL, and I posted: "Hey bro, the Dead Sea called and it wants its salt back." And then everyone lol'd some more, and posted links to pictures of the Dead Sea, and mountains of salt, and then eventually the comment was deleted.

What kind of Makoto combos do you need? I played her for less than a week, so I might be able to help! :bee:

Anything for after CH and non-CH j.B.

And here's something you might find useful for Makoto. In the corner, if you decide to end your combo with BBS, depending on the proration, you might be able to hit them with 6A giving you a mixup.

Hmm, I think Zero said that after a CH j.B, you can do a 6A? I dunno, I was just about set to start learning the same things you are, and then Platinum.

Or if you have a 100 heat, you could do Particle Flare for terrible minimum damage! But it might finish someone off and they probably can't burst out.

I already knew about CH j.B > 6A, I just don't remember what comes afterwards for a BnB.

EDIT: I think it has finally dawned upon me how to use combos as mixup setups and I can also use this for my Fuerte game.

CH j.B > 5B > 5CC > sj.CB > dj.CB > dj.623C~D

or

CH j.B > 2D > drive combo shenanigans.

I think both of those work. You might have to omit a j.C from the air combo, but I'm not positive.

Thanks. This and my enlightenment should give me time to kill until the XBOX conference starts.

To think the idea came from trying to apply mixups to my IRL fighting style.

I just got the game yesterday, and I picked up and played as Ragna.

I noticed that in CS2 they made both carnage scissors and blood kain/devoured by darkness actually worthwhile DDs and comparable to the usefulness of having a rapid cancel handy...and he can do like 2.7k off of a D inferno divider in the corner...that's definitely not boring lol.

Not to bad, boy have I been missing out :/
