Aha, my bad? :awesome:

Rachel has so many shenanigans though, I was being serious. Though I guess her 5A is jump cancellable, so that's sort of useful. If I understood how to use wind properly, I would probably play her instead of Mu.

But I do love dat ***.

So I'm going to be going to Brazil for about a month and was wondering if it'd be worth getting CSII on the 3DS to kill time/practice/whatever when I'm not doing anything else, assuming I don't get my 3DS stolen within the first week. If anybody's played it, an opinion would be appreciated please. :o
If you like fighting games and you want a challenging in depth fighting game, then get it.

Also has a bunch of modes, the new one is VERY fun to play I think it was called Abyss? havent played the Japanese version in awhile but you would pretty much go through levels and eventually you would get to a boss. After the boss you had the option to buy skill points for like +2speed or +2health, this mode in itself was mad fun.

Nah, it's nothing to "my bad" about. I just thought it was funny is all.

I thought is was already known that Arcsys had the rights to GG. At least, that what people have been saying whenever the subject comes up.

It's cool to hear they trademarked it though, might mean we don't have to wait much longer. It could also mean nothing.

I still think there will be at least one more BB before a new GG though.

Yeah, I predict they'll like...dunno, do another Blazblue game (would it be a trilogy or something), of course that'll wind up being BBCR like everyone jokingly guesses. So maybe another Blazblue then Blazblue X Guilty Gear, then Guilty Gear or something.

BlazBlue is, in fact, a trilogy of games. So you can expect at least one more iteration after CS.

I think Arc had the rights to make the game, and Sega had the rights to distribute or something convoluted like that.

A new GG would be nice though. :3c

Right now, I'm looking at CS2 Taokaka. I'm just so happy to see that her taunt loop is gone in favor of the new one. This new one is practically RSF for Tao and I'm already getting the ending combo for her and glad to see it's the bulk of her loop's damage output.

Guess I'll look at Lambda since Platinum is still kinda boring me a bit.

Hmmm...

Lambda's pretty boss now that I've learned how to pressure with her. She's really not as bad at eating guard primers as I thought, especially if you can catch someone shielding her 236D-C.

Now I just need to practice the Crescent Saber Cancel to extend her sword combos.

The animation is amazing, but it doesn't quite fit. Being meguka is suffering, being Platinum is rainbows and cupcakes.

Seriously, you should be off winning tournaments somewhere. Anyone that can do combos that fluently shouldn't be playing online. ldskfjsdlfk

The only problem I seen was that you were pulling in with the drive just about every time you used it, even on block. Not sure if you do that all the time or just taking advantage of my poor execution, but most characters can really mess Hazama up with that. Lambda can safely 6A him out of any move after blocking the drive. I'm just terrible at punishing though. :<

GGs anyway. :D
Hopefully I'll have Lambda/Hazama down by the next time we get to play.

For some reason, I am learning how to Makoto.

It's like 2A, j.2C, 2A, j.B, 2A, 6B, 2A, parry, 2A, learn combos, 2A.

Then I will be officially pro.

So true.

I think after the second hit, you have to dash to the other side and 2D. I'm sooo not there yet. Got to figure out the timing on Lightning Arrow combos first.

I've been trying to learn Jin lately.
Even though he's autopilot now he's still really fun, especially corner DP loops.

I'm looking at Makoto again. The thing that turned me off from her in the first place was that holding back doubled as a buffered parry input. Now that it's gone, I can actually move back and forth without having that weird pause so I don't get the parry.

Also, how do get 2C >2D with her? I can only seem to get lvl 1 or 2 at most. Otherwise, the dummy just blocks.

@Lythium
Is that Matryoshka Miku?

I could be wrong because I just started messing around with Makoto, but you're probably going to need a move with a lot of hitstun in order to do 2C > 2D. What's the combo that you're trying to do?

And yes, it is. :3c

There's going to be a BBCS2 tournament coming up this upcoming June, Alberta Beatdown 2. I'm co-hosting it and I hope to turn some heads. Gotta start training more.

I really hope that if they make a new BB, that Jubei is playable, that's my wish <3

I still have a chance though, and there's always this:

In "Teach me Ms. Litchi Reloaded" Jubei talks about his Nox, Musashi stating, "Y'all see what it can do soon enough". Ragna responds with "Man, are you still keeping that thing under wraps? You better bring that sucker out in the next game! Yeah?" Hinting at the possibility of Jubei being a playable character in the next installment, or at the very least, having a much more direct impact on the story.
