hmm... I hadn't realized attendance was already at ~40 people. Otherwise I would have said:
Eric's house = win

Anyway, we need to see how many people would still go if it were far away. If the list drops down to 30 or something like that after they find out how far it is, we may as well just have it at Eric's house and manually have to cut some people.

oh man. It's been a while. I would so like to confirm that i'm going, but i just CAN'T, because theres a cruise thing at my church and I'm not sure if i'm going. It's either KEN or 50 YEAR ANNIVERSARY. hmm please save a spot for me?! ERIC?? anyone wanna get some smash in before then!?

Eric has a 32 people limit. We don't want to kick people out. I also vote Kensington... But if you choose that Eric you have to msg me because you have to sign out some form and have your parents sign it and stuff like that. Kensington also has a 7-11 near by if people wanted food or drinks.

Haha Ryan! Your to irresponsible to be a sub GM! If I acually did hire you... I would expect coming home one night and every single person would be Jailed/Banned!

Ill try to make it there on Sunday. I gotta help Jeff move so dunno if I'm able to make it. Try my best just because Darius is going and probably Jeremy.

right now we're leaning towards 32 people and cutting some off until we have 4 extra (36) which we will allow to come to the tournament JUST incase some people don't show, and if they do, it's ok for us to go 4 over the limit. I talked with my mom about this.

THE 36 PEOPLE WILL BE CHOSEN BASED ON THE FOLLOWING...

1. People coming from furthest away will be given top priority
2. People that are known to the general smash community as PRO's will be given 2nd priority
3. People that have placed high in our local BC tournaments on multiple occasions will be given 3rd priority.
4. People with any tournament experience will be given 4th priority.

I have a rough idea of who would make the top 36 people. All you local BC guys need to come out and prove yourself once or twice b4 July 1st to show Eric and myself that you should be allowed to compete with large and diverse group of skilled smashers! Some of you already know you'll make it on, and that's all cool. But there are many of you whom are borderline and if I saw certain people stepping up over others and participating more by coming out to smashfests and beating the better players you would DEFINETLY be favored for a spot in the 36.

Well looks like I gotta talk to Jeff and make him come out to more smashfests.
He seems to be qualified for a spot...

But you should put as #5 People who will acually participating in the Tournament.
Some people want to go just to meet Ken and don't really care about the tournament.

Most likely Jeremy will be coming with me. See, Shaw is doing maintenance in our area at the moment, and for this week (Mon to Sun) internet will be down from 10am? to 4pm? I forgot the timeframe exactly, but we don't have internet during the day. So... why not get our balls kicked by some Foxes.

Fantastic, looks like niether me or jason will probably not be able to see and play all the #1 ranked players. But if that's how its gotta be then w/e i'll try to come to a smashfest and just play for fun I guess.

Andrew I think you will already get on. You are more better then most of the players around here already. It seems that now I have to play my best against you now. So I don't think you should worry much.

haha, thx for the compliment John. I was just a lil worried cause i didn't meet ANY of the four criteria. I live close, i'm not considered pro, and i've never placed high in any tourneys, let alone gone to any..lol

Roby, the list is not full yet. There are also many smashers in this community that I would consider you to be better than. On top of all that, the 36 person list hasn't even filled up yet! Be optimistic man :). You and Jason just gotta come out to more smashfests and show me what you got ;)

supsup: I would say most likely, just to be sure you should come out again and show us what you got. I'm pretty sure of you being one of the BETTER players in our community though :p

HAHAHAHA I don't think Jeff will be coming to this Sundays smashfest.
He is going to get grounded! He is in my animation class and he never does any work at all... so a friend of mine pretty much did his whole animation. Jeff told him to put a song for background music and he took a song from my animation(I didn't finish editing the music) Fort Minor's "Remember the Name" song and at second 45 it says the F word and he didn't edit the music! LoL all animation is going to be shown to the grade 10's so of course the teacher will get mad. Jeff will get in trouble no matter what. He can just get owned cause of his music he used or say that he didn't do it and still get owned. xD
Yes he already handed it in today so he can't change it now.

Wondering why I didn't tell him to change it earlier? Well its because I was uhhh... uhhh... sick today >.> Yeah I was sick. I just found out from my friend that he used my song and stuff.

His mom will find out about this cause she always does. So he might not make it...
I'll tell him that he should come to more smash fests right after I laugh in his face. :laugh:

It's very noticable. And last year someone had an animation that said bish and Brett spazzed at him for a good 10 minutes. Since he will be showing this to the grade 10's he will take is seriously. He seems to be getting more strict lately.
He has yelled at me and a few other people for being late... I never expected him to yell at us for just being late.

You didn't participate in the acuall tourney but you went to the one we had at wally's
You also went to the one that I held at my house. That little tourney last year.

Ok I know Jason probably is at the bottom of making the cut. But I don't blame him, his always complaining about going to these and wasting money lol.

I just have not been active lately at smashfests but I use to come to almost every single one before a month ago and I hosted a tourney/smashfest, surely that's got to count for something :p :p

You're choice guys :D

Just a quick update, my mum has mentioned something to me that may make me unable to go on Sunday, or that I will have to leave earlier than expected (around 4pm?). As of right now there's about an 85% chance I can still go, my mum says she'll update me later. It's mostly I have to go out for dinner, but she doesn't know what time/where we are eating.

BTW Gimpyfish62, I finally saw Boozer Cute, it was excellent. Huge props for doing that, love those f-smashes dude.

John - you can play Roy? We should have some friendlies and see who else you can use too -next smashfest.

Adam, I'm having a small smashfest (if you can call it that) on June 24th (exactly one week before the tourney) at my house. The list of people invited are as follows: Eric, Adam, Tiep, Ryan, Manuel, Gerald, Herschel, and three of my friends from Coquitlam, Matt, Nathan, and Kaleb. I want to play mainly with the Richmond crew alone, because every time I meet up and play with you guys, I get better and learn new stuff (plus I wanted to invite only people I knew fairly well). So, basically, we'll do nothing but play smash all day [i/]. I want to prove that I can be on the list. And yes, there will be plenty of food (pizza, etc.).

I completely forgot to ask him but Jeff's house is available after June 14th. He is moving and he will be living in the basement of that house alone and parents upstairs so we could use his place without worrying about making to much noise.
I already talked to him about this and its a yes. So all we would need is like a TV or 2.
There might also be a limit to how many people can go.

I guess since its his place he can choose who he wants to go. But I can safely say that Richmond Crew has a reserved spot for sure. And me of course.
He has lots of drinks... So all we would need is food.
By lots of drinks I do mean LOTS! He has like a wall of drinks.

Limit is unknown of right now. I'm thinking around 12 people maybe 10. But thats enough for a STD.
I will ask his mom later.
No booze allowed. And for the first hour or 2 we might get annoyed by his little brother. He will usually leave after an hour or 2.

Just wondering who here is interested in an STD? Besides Tiep and myself?
