it's just not hard at all... 85%+ is so easy to do... if you're a ******** nerd comme moi, you'll rely on math and get high 90's and schma and yeah.

Calculus? Arg, I'm still debating whether I should take it or not. I hear that it requires a spare to do homework and study but I don't think I can afford one on my schedule. Is Calculus worth taking in High school or should I just take it in University?
Answer these questions:
What faculty do you want to go into in university?
Are you taking Math 12 in grade 12 as well or are you done?
How good are you at Math?
Will you be taking Calculus AB or Calculus 12?

Don't think you should say that getting honor roll is so easy if your only finished grade 9.
You have lots of easy courses early on in the year.
If you take Calculus/Bio/Chem I don't think you would be saying that its easy.
Next year you also have provincials...

I would even say Calculus is harder then your whole grade 8 and 9 years.

If there is a smashfest on Sunday at Adam's again I can't go. Helping Jeff move all his stuff downstairs.

lol yeah, gr nine was the best. in terms of getting easy marks. even though you study lots, it will get harder. trust me. but you seem asian enough. methinks you can pull it off. math 10 is relatively easy, math 11 is uberhard, and math 12 starts to get easier again. but math 8/9 are utter garbage, you shoul dhave learned that shiet in elementary school. congrats on getting your 4.0 tho? socials has screwed me over once more. AASDKFJL;JASDFL;. it's okay. i'll always have my drama award =]

Grade 9 is the easiest year in high school. Grade 10 was my hardest, but that's probably because I took Math 11, Physics 11, and Biology 11 that year. Grade 12 wouldn't have been bad if it weren't for Calculus -.-; I should have done my homework and stuff. I slacked and got screwed because of it. If I learned the stuff and studied hard, I could have done the AB exam, done well, and never taken Calc again. Instead, I did no work... 67% first term, 54% second term, 47% third term, 56% final. Now I gotta do it all over again next year for one semester...

Private school or not... It's still hard no matter how smart you are or how much of a "nerd" you are.
If your as smart as you say, then you should be grad'ing before your whole grade.

I've only known one person that was able to grad a year before me that was the same age. (So he was in our grade but grad'ed when we were in grade 11.)
I've talked to him and he even says Calculus is really hard.
This would take pretty much all your free time and you wouldn't have time to play SSBM and practice anything or learn anything at all.
I also think you are not a "nerd" as you say you are because then you would always be typing with proper grammar and complete sentences all the time.

edit: firstly, I don't want to post again to ruin the awesomeness of this, but in the above picture posted by kyuu, eric has 291 posts in the thread. I have 291 posts now :O:O coincidence? I think not.

John, if you mean Alan, he's just BSing. Calc is easy for him. He just pretends to be stupid because he thinks it's funny. Another person who was our age, but graduated when we were in grade 10 is Joe Hung. This year, Jasmine is graduating with us and she's supposed to be in grade 10... She graduated from elementary school a year early and now secondary school a year early. Another guy who's supposed to be in grade 11 is also graduating with us but I don't know his name.

Nah it's not Alan, but that guy studies like all day everyday. Everytime I see him he is studying. I even saw him at the mall with his parents once and he was reading a book. Never have I ever seen him not studying/reading/doing work. Alan studies way to much.

It was another person. Eh go figure I know 2 people.

Also, Adam are you holding a smashfest this weekend? I'm feeling way under-prepared :\

I'll message you guys with the address of Jeff's house on Msn. It's not my house so I'm not going to post it on the internet. If I forget to message you it just ask me.

Also is Nick coming or something? His post says he is coming back to smash on saturday. (His post on the Team Canada for 0C2 thread.)
