Obviously both of us have the brain power to assume each of us will bring one anothers controllers to Roby's place on Saturday.
Everyone: Herschel is definetly top 10, I can already assure you. Trust me, for my years of experience far surpass you AHAHAHAHAH! :D
Ryan: This is for money, yeah definetly, Richmond crew should be allowed to enter. We'll just take the top placers aside from Richmond crew and let them have a mini tournament afterwards to see where they all stand.

I guess me and Adam can arrange (Beginner,Medium,Advanced) players into 3 diffrent categorys.
So like all the pro's dont knock out the newbies early on it's a bit unfair.
Beside's thats ushally how it work's in tournaments.

dawg, it doesn't matter how many people there are... at least not for teh mini tourney. and it is plain to see that by getting us all to enter, ryan, we're just making richmond crew a lil bit more ..rich. Oh, i'll enter anyway, i'm a good sport. Adam, let the results speak for themselves. unless herschel has gotten dramatically better, then i woudn't say he's a shoe in. Hershey, hope to see you there

Actually you've got skill seeding completely turned around. The best are usually paired with the worst at the very beginning. This is logical because:
1. The worst player should lose right away, 2nd worse next, and so on.. We're trying to PREVENT lucky brackets, not encourage it.

4. Exciting matches are saved for the end. Notice how in high profile tourneys you NEVER get some lucky noob from greenland or w/e playing against Ken in the finals. The noob died as he was supposed to, and we end up with exciting finals. ie. Ken & Isai

My way is exactly What Tiep said Roby! Just dont forget to make it Double Elimination so its more fair, so people who lose first round vs worser people in the Losers Bracket!

I think I'm gunna take Victa off top 10 list since he quit. Although he'd prolly still be good enough to take 10th spot XD. If he's not playing the game and he actually SAID he quit then that's that
. So after Saturday, 2 spots will be filled with NEW players on the list. I'm pretty excited to see who is all talk and who is actually been improving alot and is gunna cause some upsets .
We should do the money tournament WITH Richmond crew, then the top 8 placers that AREN'T in the Richmond crew should be seeded into 1v1 double elim brackets according to how they placed and fight for top 5-10.
ANOTHER THING: After seeing that link to the convo with Roby and Keith and seeing Keiths msn name asking for donations for going to 0C2 (if he actually is serious about going) I too would like to come out and ask the local smash community if they wouldn't mind donating to myself to attend.
WHY SHOULD YOU DONATE TO ME???
I currently am working full time at this "Bosleys" warehouse for pet stores. I'm only making like $9.50/hr, which after taxes, since I got this job through a job placement agency, comes out to like less then $8/hr. I pay my dad $400 a month just to live at home with him. I happen to know for a fact that NONE of the other smashers going or planning to go to 0C2 have to pay rent, and even if they did I'm very certain it would not come NEAR $400 a month.
I work hard for my money and working in a warehouse is dirty, tiring, and very physically demanding. If ANYONE could donate ANY amount of money I would REALLY appreciate it because right now I am broke until next Friday and then I have to earn enough money to buy a plane ticket, which is currently going up in price as we speak. There is a set date for 0C2 and it is Aug.15th-17th. I would REALLY like to be able to buy my ticket now or as SOON as I can to avoid having to pay more, the prices are just going to increase more and more as it gets closer to the summer. So please, if you could, the next time u see me, throw me a few bucks, whatever u want to give. Money is tight for me and any donations would be appreciated. I thank you for reading this and hearing me out. I think I am the most needy and worth while person in Greater Vancouver to donate to, because I'm paying so much rent, AND u can be sure that I will kick some *** at 0C2 and make BC and it's smash community proud.

Can't we do like fundraisers in smashfests/tournaments over the summer june/july mostly and give it to people who deserve to go.

If you're just trying to make some money to pay THEM with cuz u feel like u should pay for some of it yourself then I can totally understand that and that's a good a reason as any for ppl to donate to you. Although when it comes down to it, I think I'm the one that needs donations the most, I've already asked my parents if they are willing to pay ANY of my expenses for going to, durring, and flying back from 0C2 and I've offered to pay them back INTEREST and they still decline. They don't think it's a good idea so I'm working against alot of factors here...

Shawn from Edmonton has been kind enough to make me a new sig. His Samus is the ownage and Tiep is like OMFG mines bedderrrr and then they play and it's real close so I dunno who has best samus but OMFG look at the sig he made me for FREE in his own spare time! what a great guy :D
