If you're playing alone with the CPU, I'd rather use the time to sleep, study, or play another game. Better time management =). The best way, and also the only way to get better (after a certain point) is to play with another person. The only reason to practice alone is if you need to practice technicals - wavedashing, l-cancelling, short hop fast falls, etc. For a time I thought I had to retire from smash, but then I realised you don't get better from playing with level 9 computers 5 hours a day (or whatever). Since then I never played the game outside of smashfests. Because of that I have more than enough time to do everything else (sleep, study, work, games), so I ended up not retiring.
Anyhow, a couple pages back Roby said the 410 from 22nd street goes right by Adam/Eric's house. I thought you had to transfer to another bus, but if not, then getting there by transit is a hell lot easier than I thought. And if so, then I wouldn't mind putting in some effort to attend some weekly or biweekly smash with the Richmond crew. I'm only free on Friday and Sunday though. I need some more practice because in the last crew battle, though I didn't do too bad (or so people say...), I still think I'm not pulling my own weight; somebody else has to take down extra stock because of me. Or in short, I sucked. Still bugs me today, even though that was half a year ago (October 2005?). Don't like being the weakest link in a team. Oh, I also have to get better to maintain a crew position don't I?
Oh, I don't see ANY of your names in here (not even Troy's o_o):
